You failed hard now, the more you expand a thing, the harder it is to control it. When your grasp exceeds your own hands, it might turn around and grab you on your own neck.

In the 60 cap no one botted. In the 70 cap, nightbloom disbanded her guild and join Avalon, my guild. My guild was strick on botting. No one ever dared to bot in Avalon. nightbloom had to give up a good friend, mastethee, to join Avalon. In the 80 cap Avalon disbanded and nightblooms old guild reformed. mastethee was one of the 1st to join it. Along with this bad apple, came the bots, the scum, and the softmod. Due to this mess of shit and the stuff with Thiefz, I paid the price for it all. I lost my legit character.

When you watch someone you love lose something importent, it changes your views on things. Never again was a bline eye turned on the botting issue. Never again did she not care about people botting. That person you claim to have once respected, that person was born the day I got banned for the actions of the trash that surrounded me. That person was born months after that recording.

When we started on venus, we all agreed on Avalon and the rules of the 70 cap. Avalon is a place of rest for those who seek shelter. Over 50% of our members used to be botters on some other server. Some even botted on Venus before we changed there mind on botting.

I agree. It was unprofessional of SuicideGrl and Ryoko to go and create the EB section knowing the Fly and nightbloom botted, had gold farmers, and give people free softmod accounts.

A bunch of good people in the Off Topic section who didn't play the game for over a year got banned, which is the reason why the 90-day rule came in effect a few months ago. If only this had happened a few months ago... then they would definitely get the ban hammer.

Not entirely correct... Azillius exposed them with evidence that was of a close date. D2A just denied botting for that long. This evidence is from the time and that time has passed.

At the same time, i don't think lying hypocritical people deserve a place in these forums. Ofcourse i'd be surprise if they were banned considering

1. Their familiarity with so many people in the community. They're famous SRO players... if it's possible.

2. Their good friends with the leaders of this board. Whilst i think this SHOULD be the end of this entire forum - or at least it's "BOT FREE" image - realistically the mods/admins will use any trick in the book in this case to keep their friends safe.




What should come of all this? In my opinion, SRF should relieve all BOT bans and return to the way it use to be. There shouldn't be such a dictatorship on Bot related threads. This situation has shown how stupid the idea of a separate bot-free community is, because weak minded people (in this case atleast) obviously cannot keep to the rules they set.

At the same time, relieving the bans won't help much to return the forum to something that can be considered respectable in the future. The people that made this place what it is are not around anymore and will not return because their ban was lifted.
