cod5 or res 2?
I cant make up my mind on wether I want call of duty 5: World at War or Resistance 2. The only reason im considering buying cod5 for is because the co-op, and up to 4 players online thing. Im just wondering can anyone who has it for PS3 confirm that its possible? and is it a rip-off or is it actaully good? Like can each one of ur friends log in there own account and get their own xp, etc... Also is resistance 2 good? Can someone list pros and cons for each one, and which I should choose? thanks. Oh ya btw.. I hate WWII games.. but cod5 might be an exception.

As dom would say COD:WAW IS NOT COD5, IT IS JUST AN 'EXPANSION' FOR COD4.
Sooo get Resistance 2. The co-op in it sounds badass

Resistance 2 for sure dude. The first one was hella good, and this one is at least 10x better, making it ultra epic.

Same. Resistance felt so repetitive all the time.

Compared to any other generic shooter, that makes no sense. If anything is repetitive, it's the Call of Duty series. Virtually the same weapons almost every time (oh boy, now they have a FLAMETHROWER!!!) Nothing that could be considered a boss (HEADSHOT.... well that guy died fast) etc... I don't think Toasty actually played the game.

I'm on about how i feel when i'm playing it.. not what i was doing on it.
You thought wrong.
Edit: Oh and COD, yes, how you actually play the game is repetitive, like most shooters. But the game feels fresh and enjoyable for me each time i play it.

I love the co-op. It's great and amazingly fun.
The game is intense, there's always people popping up behind grass or running at you with a bayonet - to have teammates yell like little girls and cry for help is so fun. The only thing is that it's only enjoyable if you play with people you know, otherwise it may be a bit sterile.

Read my post, looks like I have something against CoD, I don't. It's just a bit of an example to prove my point. Call of Duty and Resistance are both great games, in terms of repetitiveness though, COD is more repetitive.
