So all we have to do is use their weaknesses. Simple, isn't it?

• Grind in parties, you can level very fast if you do it properly (there are many guides for that on this forum).
• Fight in parties and learn how to fight in a team.
• Team up with other legits. If you imitate the bots you won't succed. Join/create a legit guild/union on your server. It's a multiplayer game so don't play it alone, that's what the botters try to do. Nobody is a one-man-army, neither a legit nor a bot.
• Don't bother being outnumbered, it means nothing as long as your team has a strategy and they have not. 95% of the botters fight like monsters, good for us!
• learn how to get rid of a ks bot
• Create a team as fast as you can! Don't give away this advantage. It's hard work so start with that as soon as you can!
• save-zone buffers and un-jobbed clerics are farly overestimated...

Most of the things u wrote here r truth but how to explain this to other players that just want to get lvl90 ASAP and go kill lower lvls in pvp??? Most of my friends doesn't use bot but they think like bot (no brain no pain)... Yesterday i was traying to find relevant party for killing bunwank and i ended up spammed by bunch of low lvl n00bz yelling "FREE TAXI PLS"... I's this the game i started to play year and a half ago? +1, Sad does have the right ideas about a lot of the game.

Looks like the general consensus is that it's pointless to wait for the game to turn around and for JM to enforce any of their rules and ban these botters, so focus on the game's positive aspects and run with those. Run your own race, find a good group of legit friends, and don't worry so much about keeping up with the unscrupulous characters - they usually end up on the cutting room floor eventually.

Greed, and the need for some people to be the 'best,' is always going to drive some players to break the rules, whether they are 15 years old or 50. Happens in life, so will happen in the game too

If this is about pvp, then well.. most botters are not as skilled/smart/good at pvp as legits simply because they do not know what their skills do, or how to use them.
EG: warriors, there is not a single warrior i'v seen who is comptent with his subclass and able to juggle all 3 weps at once on Zeus, why? Because they are afk botting with their 2h's. Compare this to Venus where you see warriors who blend warrior/cleric together very well, by use of overheals, healing cycle, axe's and 1h for example.

I dont see why they wouldnt be able... If someone PvP's for week (3 hours a day) - with his botted up lv.90 FF character, watches few videos at youtube of other people playing, practices weapon switching and reading forum a little bit, I dont see no reason why he couldnt play his character at full potential?

Silkroad cape fights arent rocket science, there are much more skill-required things in other MMOs (example Pvp at Guild Wars (Guild Wars - MMORPG)).

I bet I could play any character there is, good as someone that played him for two years, if you give me 1 week to practice it a little bit.
For party play - vent and a group of understanding people who are capable of doing something , with capped characters - you can rule the world.

...bots who have been legit before do better in PvP then bots that dont.

...bots that have played for a longer time do better in PvP then bots who have played for a shorter time.

...bots who have a higher IQ tend to do better in PvP then bots who have a lower one.

...lvl 90 legits tend to do better in PvP then a lvl 90 bot.

Why? The dumb, ignorant, poor legits never cap. For a bot, all those masses of people who don't deserve to get past lvl 30 manage to cap. Sure, there might be a few that know how to pvp, but thats a stretch. The few bots that i've seen that have a slight knowledge of PvP are mainly former legits who use the pathetic excuse that they "don't have the time." Even those are mostly skilled in chinese style 1vs1, get them in a team and they get raped.

You would be suprised the number of times friends have pm'd me with things such as "zomfg come to samarkand and watch this" only to use the bard skill Tempation on a mob, or realize that with trap/sleep the oppenent cant move or attack, the most skilled/best glaivers i'v seen and fought against for example actually make use of the chain spear and wolfbit series, rather then just spam SS,GS,WS,FD over and over again, just like the best s/s nukers i'v seen do things other then debuff, KD, nuke, debuff over and over, the longer a person is legit the more combination of skills they find that work, and they know when to use them. That is what im trying to say.

Another reason people don't to use chains is the fact that you might get knocked back or down during the time spent doing the 4-5 hits of the chain. For example. Let's say a glaiver is PvP'ing a bower. The bower just started casting demon arrow and the glaiver started a chain. Demon arrow hits, and is followed up by the arrow combo. The glaiver has wasted time, and has only managed to get two, maybe three hits of the chain across. Same goes for knockdown. A soul spear deals the same damage, but it's faster (two hits). Wolf bite is good at low levels, the lv 71 book is too slow for PvP, IMO. However, bladers can chain due to block and high defense.

A glaivers DPS is just fine with Emperor, Soul and Windless. However, as far as DPS for bowers is concerned: ALWAYS Demon Arrow before Strong Bow at the start of a PvP or after a Knockback! I think it should be clear to everyone why.

It's little things like these that can actually make a difference in the outcome of a fight. All it takes is a little skill, some game analysis abilities and a bit of logical thinking.

EDIT: I forgot to say pure STR glaive is the best build!
