Need help with a party theme please! =]

Im in some kind of organisation at school that well, organisizes party's and day trips and all that kind of stuff for our school.
But im not rlly a person that is good in thinking bout stuff like that, so i wud like to know if anyone ever had an awsum party with a cool theme. Lets say, a Hawaii theme, yes sounds silly but its just an example

Every thought is welcome and i hope u guys & gals know some nice themes

PS: If you know one, and its not too much trouble, cud u also tell me wot the decoration was for the theme, thanks

Ontopic = Try and 70's/80's theme. It's funny to dress up in stuff your parents used to wear and thought it was "cool" *or perhaps groovy*

Possibly a peadophile theme ? Where all the guys dress up as let's say .. Garry Glitter ? And all the girls dress up as any sterotype 5-12 year old would. Nappy's / Dummy's / etc etc.

Well the hall walls were covered in decorations looking like waves and having green decorations for the underwater plants. Bubble and foam machine were on the go at certain points. Costumes were varied from lifeguards, scuba gear, hawaii costumes, swimwear, a guy came as a shell lul. It was a alright theme, we had fun and when it was over we were all perfectly dressed for a pool party at a friends so it all worked out.
