Re: is it weird that i wanna be a nursery/elementary teacher?
whelp, I guess at that age they might consider it weird. You should give it a try anyways. I know my brother became teacher because he liked teaching children. Then he taught for a year and never went back.
Male teachers are usually given the worst (as in behavior) kids. And it's a job that you have to take home with you, and is very stressful.
You also can't decide what grade to teach in elementary. My brother had a good time as an intern at a 5th grade class, since they are more mature. Third grade was a nightmare.
But who knows, you could end up enjoying it by having great classes.

Yes, you are broken beyond repair. You might as well end it right now, on the spot.

One of my old classmates wanted to become a school teacher just because of the fact that he could harrass others in his position >_>
Well, it isn't bad that you want to become a teacher,
just don't snap around the shorties

Yep.
And you rather than me, so good luck.
Tbh, teaching has to be one of the most ezmode jobs.
My teachers are always complaining and moaning, but seriously, they have to do shit.
One of my teachers even complained that he had to work 42 hours a week. He gets Farking paid to work fulltime.

42 hour weeks are pretty short..
Re: is it weird that i wanna be a nursery/elementary teacher?
Its not weird if you like to be around children.
Just prepare for a job that won't pay much... Unless your going to teach the kids of celebrities or something.

The actual hours in school with children are about 45, but that doesn't include hours and hours of paperwork and lesson planning every week. I don't really consider spending the majority of your day sitting in a classroom trying to teach 30 obnoxious children ez-mode though.
Anyway, nothing wrong with being male and wanting to teach elementary school. It's actually a whole lot easier to get a job in that field if you're male since it's dominated by females.
I want to be an elementary school teacher aswell :}

Don't worry to much, some people just like to play the generalization card. If you watched the news and internet even slightly, there have been various CP distributors and Pedophiles trialled and convicted. So it's not entirely without reason for them to warn you. People are a little spooked by it and who can blame them?
And about your career decision, It's pretty unconventional, but unconventional does not make it impossible, nor does it forces your career to fail simply because others deem it not worthy enough.. Expect a few strange looks sometimes, but simply remain faithful to your own path.
But if this is what you really want to do then by all means go and fulfill it. But I do empathize the fact of proper preparation before you even start out in the class room. Like others already said, it's not the easiest job in the world. Make sure you know what you get yourself into, because doing it solely from the heart might be admirable, in the longer run it might bite you in the buttocks.
Teaching with a empty motivational gas tank is not recommended.
