That is just ignorant. It is a fact that most of the stories in the Bible are just copies of stories from FAR OLDER religions. Hinduism, one of, if not the oldest religion in the world, tells the story of the flood that wiped out the world wayyyy before God came along, Christians and Jews just took the story and added their own little touches.
As i said earlier their are tons of text documents that predate the bible. The would be more if christians didn't so zealously destroy every other historical document they used to come across because it so obviously threatened the claim that their religion was the right one. Hell, even the Art of War predates the the New Testament and the Old testament.
So lastly the bible is neither the oldest or the most historically accurate document around. Its a collection of fables stolen from other older religions and stories about the teachings of a man name jesus which could hardly be considered historical because he did nothing historical unless you're a Christian.
