[GUIDE] How to PK2 Edit your underbar

I kinda have a question about the Zerk Gauge...
You know on the Upper left corner of the screen the pink circles?
On the Media.pk2, there are 2 kinds of them... Blue and Pink... But only pink appear as you know...
If i change the name of the blues (do a copy of the files and rename) to the name of the pink ones, will they appear blue?

OR

Do i have to edit them on photoshop to appear blue?

I'm just asking about the gauge, not the zerk colour on the char...

although that ub may look the best i strongly advise in NOT using that ub. as it is very common in loaders, i know this because my friends in college and also my own brother has now started using loaders which include this pk2 edit. therefore it may be used against you. im not saying you bot or anything, id just advise others not 2 use that specific one for further accusations. i used to have that one but got accused many times.

Oh yeah, i began changing the COS' options mini bar that is attached with the Underbar... I just did some minors edits and going to try now.

So, I've changed the HP and MP again, trying the COS icons above the UI with that little round arrow, wich i changed it too... I haven't tryed yet cuz server's crowded everytime, and I have tryed Private Server (wich i hope it's not illegal here) but no luck, cuz when i try to open it, i get the error with the graphics... (The Korean error with your Windows edition, ram info, graphics info, etc...) JUST HOPE IT'S NOT ILLEGAL... If it is here, I haven't tryed inside it cuz i can't launch it.... But this isn't important now...
The important is that I'm trying the new mods and as soon i get into the server, I'll post a picture here... =)

For me, underbar and pk2 edits that involve Photoshop are easier to do then avatar changing...

So, in this one, we got a fully completed UI, only need to change EXP bar, BURNING BLUE ZERK GAUGE(!!!), need to fix the white part on the lil circle arrow of the COS controls and i might have to search a lil bit in how to change the Avatar do Cursed skull one ^^
But i promisse to try! =)

To do the zerk gauge, just extrack the playerminiinfo under interface directory, and the inside you'll have something called pmi_jahwan and pmi_jahwan02... normal jahwan is your pink zerk gauge, and the 02 is blue... Simply make a backup of all your normal pmi_jahwan files, in case you want to use the pink again, and copy the pmi_jahwan02 and paste it in the same folder... Then just rename your recently created copies of the 02 and rename them to the pink names (I think removing the 02 should work)...
And there you go! =)

Hum, that's the problem me and penfold once talked in pm's... I really have to do a video explaining how to take the black part off, but it's so hard to make one cuz i ain't got video editing skills in my Sony Vegas... =S
Since i got a new comp now, ill try to make the video and post here using the laptop, cuz i ain't got my own internet yet...
Just use the original underbar for a while, ok?
If i don't succeed on making the video, ill send you the psd files... =)

ddj - dds STRAIGHT converertion
once you converted it to dds open it with photoshop, u can get the trail from the official website and my plug in which is included in the guide.

when you open it leave it and swap over to my guide and right click the UB you want and save. then what you need to do is take out any bits that you dont like, airbrush it a bit whatever and just change some stuff do whatever you want THERE, then save that image as a jpg so you have like a "final copy"

then pick say the sides and paste your image over the top of it remove the background of the image. view the alpha layer and make sure its over the bits that u want see through and save it

btw for the pet bar is media\interface\animal\

then you need am_ctrl_window ddj files but i guess its harder than the underbar ^^

the normal bar file is the am_ctrl_window_3.ddj but that one only have 3 spaces and the wolf is 5

Ps: i dont understand nothing of photoshop, i could even to that with paint because i can do it by there, but i dont know how i have to cut the image, it stays all the time wrong and i dont know what i do wrong when convert it into dds then ddj that my quallity reduces 100%
