Warlock isn't about damage. It's about dps (damage per second). And who doesn't want more hp?

maybe for other pure int builds.. but other people say hybrid warlock/cleric hit more than pure int ones.
thats why i only want answers from people who have the build..

LOL so what you are saying is: lower the dps for some health?! when ur dot's don't do that much dmg already
look dude, play a warlock first, then give comment. why would you want a couple more hp over dmg when you can interupt, lower your opponent's dmg, highten ur own (sure... ur hybrid will eventualy hit as hard as my pure... UN-DEBUFFED),suck hp,...

So if he wants to make a hybrid char, make sure it has more than 17k hp to be pretty much effective. Thats just my opinion.

by going very hybrid, you'd lose all your dmg... sure you'd be able to tank 2 absolutes at once (errr... what is the chance that happens? if you groupfight, you'r party should have a cleric healing) but what is the party with a member not being able to do dmg but tank 2 absolutes? it's useless, face it... it's like a hybrid wiz - anyone think wiz would go hybrid? no, so why would warlocks?!- go str if you wanna tank, go int if you want to be a lock... both have their advantages, you can't have it all
and i'd like to hear a legit hybrid warlock saying he hits harder then a pure... and that he absolutely needs the extra couple hundreds hp...
trap-sleep ur opponent and you don't need any hp at all
if it failed, use stuns and vampire kiss/touch, alongside with debuffs and dots, you shouldn't have to much problems
edit: not to mention: ur heals will be stronger as a pure int, your offer will hit harder... so why oh why bother sticking ur head up ur ass and lowering all that?! but im sure a battlebard knows how to play and build up a warlock (no offence dude, but why reply on a topic you know jack shit about?)
and learn to accept that warlocks -as any other build- will own and get owned

Go hybrid. I speak on behalf of actual experience, not assumptions. The damage sacrificed for going hybrid is worth the extra defence, that little defence goes a long way. I have an extremely well pimped set, a pure int with my set would still get shit on. Surviving those 15k crits not only is impressive, but powerful. You make an amazing cleric in parties and a warlock
It's not all about damage, don't forget playing warlock cleric is a balance. A fragile character is a burden, be strong. Learn the difference between absolute damage and matk. Your matk is extremely effective on str users even as a hybrid while absolute damage can easily drop int users.
Oh, I have a sun rod too if you wanted to know =)
