or get a rogue to poison them, poison can't kill, must have a higher lvl rogue vs a lower lvl bot for best effect, you do this while they are grinding and they die if they run out of pills

Good concept. But there are other ways........Put on your trader badge, go out to ongs, and let the npc thieves do their job. No murder status there either. Thats where you have to start the fight. Get these low lvl bots getting plvld to the right lvl to start botting. If the go to bot plvl, go afak, and then come back the next day and no xp????? what the hell? Maybe then they will stop coming to Venus. Once the new bots stop coming to venus, then we can start whiping out the capped bots. But you have to take out the little ones b4 we start on the bigger ones.

Can anyone tell me the difference between abusing a bug (i.e. the DOT bug/logoff) and running a bot?

(waits for the inevitable "ur a bot supporter, gtfo")

Naw I'm not gonna flame or name call. But I mean you can use your mind to answer. The difference is that JM made a programming error(maybe they didnt who knows). A bot is third party made to lvl a character for you. You can clearly see the difference, I hope that helps.

Well, I guess we'll find out. I don't know if it is a bug or not. If it's considered a bug, then using it is no different than botting (at least the end result isn't). It's not my call.

2. Users found to be using or distributing illegal programs may be subject to restrictions of their account or have their account deleted. In particular cases, the user may be subject to investigation by the proper authorities.

So, there ya go. You answered your own question. Joymax is plainly against bots, they have stated it over and over, they even ban them. They are not however against using dots to kill ppl as they created the skill themselves and have never issued a single statement regarding the use of said skill.

So the difference is blazingly clear for even the dimmest intellect.

I got this, only works if you're a rogue:
Attack the bot so you go pink on him, Use scorn so no matter if he has the ''attack player'' off, he will attack you thanks to this very usefull skill. (Use this at the moment his is going to attack a mob, not when he is actually attacking a mob)

If you've scorned him starting running and not to far, otherwise he wont attack you anymore. keep running until your pink wears of and if you did it right, he should attack you and kill you.

Make sure to have a speed scroll with you or a bard with swing march.
And take all your gear off or he wint kill you fast.
And make sure to have a cleric with you. To res you, lol.

Err its not a bug. if DoT kill u not the person fault. Its like when u die from burn. Ugh...
