What Happens When I PK a person (without a cape) ?

hey, im just wondering, if ill PK a person without a cape. what will happen then? i heard about penelty or so but i didnt quiet understood it. and like should i PK a 1* trader? XD

When you PK someone you get this thing called "Murder Status" Basically your name turns red and you are free to be killed by I believe level 10+. If you die you lose exp as well as Skill Points. The penalty by most is said to be too harsh so it isn't used much unless they get scammed for their account or someone is REALLY pissing them off. It's mostly done by poeple who got their account stolen by some form of scamming or by high levels who are donw farming and are 90 so the exp they lose and sp won't really matter to them.

The penalty is pretty nasty, but you can grind it off. It takes about 150-200 monsters around your level. Your main enemy will be anyone who is free to pk you back, without any penalty. Lvl 20 and over can pk.

If you do get murder status, get a cleric friend to res you out in the wilderness so that the penalty isn't quite as bad. Worse case - die in town. That's the worst xp/sp loss.

Oh, and while you are a murderer in town, you will lose hp until you do die.

NP, and thank you for that good point about pots...I've only died in town once due to PK. It's a royal pain if you don't know a cleric with high-level res (20% return).

yeah the % return is awesome. Helps out alot if you are high level.

when you have murder statis your name is in red
when you are almost done with murder statis your name will change to a pink or purplish color
never try to kill a pink or purplish named char
if you cant do in one hit while they are in that state they may finish murder status and you are still attacking them and you will get murder statis even if you dont kill them, (but with pink or purplish name)
then they will kill you hoping for you to drop good items
you can drop anything i beleive except for equiped weapons, silk items, and active pet, basically anything in your inventory, even if it is equiped, i know, i lost a sos item i was wearing once

Actually, they have a pink name for around 15 seconds after attacking another player; if they get hit then the timer resets to 15, so what you said about not finishing them in one hit isn't true.. it's just that you go to attack them, and RIGHT after their name turns white again you hit them and turn pink. If you kill them you get murder.

and you can drop a shield that was equipped...

I got murder status once with my friends 80 nuker. This was an accident though. But I ran down to TOMB outside of Jangan where there is barely any people and grinded for an hour or so. And then the status went away

You can't use teleport when you have red status. You were lucky to be around jan.
