At my age now I wouldnt had stole it but if i was under 18 i would had then sold it at school

Actually it happen before so... yeah. Life goes on my friend. People things get stolen all the time. I had a reason why i stole that stuff it wasnt just for fun. It was to get money for my mom because we were behind on bills bout to be out on the street. So i stole and resold alot of things mainly electronics. I don't mind judge. I don't regret anything I have done in the past.

ok i returned it.. I completely cleaned the fingerprints off.. and actaully returned it in better shape. I bought a new case for it. Oh btw... There is an old saying, "Don't judge a thing while you are in it."
Some say the same thing with different words, "It's not over until the fat lady sings."
The idea is to wait -- a person isn't a "thief" because of a single stupid act. He / she is just weak-willed and acted without due consideration when the opportunity presented itself.
We can learn more about the morals of the people spouting off here by applying what they say to themselves. I'm surprised that so many young people have burned their conscience to such a degree.

Many of these (who have seared their conscience) go on to justify wrongful acts by using a very finely tuned scale -- they say that the victim should not have left it out. I agree that there is a moral responsibility to remove temptation from others. Could we take an allegation (of theft) seriously if they had left their wallets outside on Halloween night? Still, this is a very finely tuned moral code speaking. There are no laws that will punish the victim in this instance but it is interesting that the ones who advocate theft can come up with such stunning arguments to justify themselves. It proves they have grappled with the morality of such things more than most.

Seems to me that you have been struggling with your conscience and that you wanted help from your neighbors (those who frequent SRF) while doing so. I've been taught and have sought to keep my own very finely tuned scale. The offense that you have committed can be thought of as a negative act - or compared to digging a hole. Returning the property filled in the hole and restored the balance. It is nothing to think well of yourself for. The return of the property was not the act of a "good man". Kindly consider that your debt to society remains unpaid.

Do a positive act. Don't tell anybody about it. It is necessary to occasionally calibrate our "internal scales" by comparing ourselves to others, but no matter if this makes you feel good for a moment or not, the only opinion about you that matters is God's (and yours).
