4 stars "Special bargain" trade and some conclusions

Ohh yes this is a massive trade but this time using the "Special bargain price".



4 stars, buyed in the NPC near the URuchi place.



Near hotan.



Near the Yeti's zone.



Already in the European zone!

A big thz for Myosotis and for major help there... we both get some nice exp there



Also, let me compare the two last trades:

1º one:

5 stars, 1.1M, Down-Samarkand. Have used a silk pet and a lvl 90 hunter. I have blow off +350 X-Large pills and needed a extra elephant. Also got one death.
When the trade ended, I lvl from 42% -> 61% trader exp. Got 2.4M money more or less.

2º one

4 stars "Special bargain price", 473k used, Uruchi NPC - Samarkand. Have used a silk pet and a lvl 90 hunter. I have blow off 13x X-Large pills. No deaths and didn't need more tranport.
When the trade ended, I lvl from 65% -> 82%. Got 2.1M money more or less.

When you compare, it's easy to understand: the 5 stars one give me more exp, more money but since I have lost a pet and A LOT of pills, I consider that one the riskier one. The 4 stars "Special bargain price" trade give less exp, less money but it was very easy (and much more faster than the 5 stars one).
You can also think in another fact: is diferent to use 1.1M in for buy goods and risk losing them THAT using only 473k to buy goods and losing that 473k to a thief.

thanks for doing that comparison, Driver. the few bargain price trades Grace and i, with hunter help, have been on yielded similar results. the spawns were immense, but the routes we took were shorter and we netted similar profits and experience to longer, regular goods trades we have been on. i am hoping sometime soon to take a load of bargain goods from the farthest-away outpost on the chinese side to the farthest-away on on the euro side to see what kind of rewards come from it.

me and easly tried special goods just us 2, that was suicide, 2 same lvl wizard, even in cleric mode couldn't take it, it was only 3 stars but it was like a 6 stars worth of spawns

We did 5* bargain run with SG, Grace, Narc, and Celadon, and we got owned at one point, the spawns were incredible, there were two many spawns for me to really concentrate but I did see a couple lvl 96 champions. But man, that was funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Stupid 1am selling time though. Maybe this weekend when I can stay up longer.

OT: Looks like the 4* was much more profit overall comparatively with the 5*. 1.1m turned to 2.4m is only about 200% or so. Where as 473k to 2.1m is like 400% isn't it?

And I haven't figured if you're netting out the pills or not. It looks like you aren't. The costs of trade for the 5* seem to eat up all your profit - extra animal, hundred of pills vs. 13. The bargain seems like a bargain in higher profits and lower costs.

I have recently done a lot more (+3 trades, all of them 5 stars normal one). LEt me update here at least this new facts here:

Trade with 2 hunters; Samarkand -> Bandit Den.



-> I had 22.852M before sell and 1.085M in items for trade.
-> This means I had 22.852.000 + 1.085.000 -> 23.937.000




-> 26.429.000 after sell. This means:

26.429.000 - 23.937.000 = 2.492.000

That's what the trade give me, 2.492.000 gold.

-> 243 X-Large Pots used. 720 each X-Large pot * 243 = 174.960 Gold.

2.492.000 - 174.960 = 2.317.040

That's the money I have gotten there in the end.

Remember that it was with 2 hunters instead of one. Also, remember that I have done Samarkand -> Bandit Den instead of the usually DW-SAmarkand. in the end, the sell price of each item was 414% which is a little more than Dw-Samarkand (400%)

Now about the exp:

I didn't post there but you can have a double spawn of thiefs when you are doing special trades. But even with that, they are easier than a full 5 stars, requires less X-Large Pots and are faster. A diference from 2.4M - price of 350 X-Large pots ( 5 stars) or 2.1M - 13x X-Large pots (4 stars special one).

Conclusion of all this crap: Special bargain prices are better than normal trades.

We should do one with bargain goods and go the other direction. Fill up a 5 star and see how much more you profit when doing Bandit's Stronghold to Samarkand.

don't you have to buy the bargain goods from the bargain NPCs in order to get the bargain profit? o.O

oh btw, in your first post, the 2.1M profit, is that your net profit?

EDIT: Try to test it with more traders in the party while selling (they don't have to have goods), your experience should go up much much more.. the traders and hunters alike
