I wanna make a character just for making money because my main is poor. What would be the best build for a money making character. What weapon should i use? What forces if any?

If it were worthless, less people would pay for it.

Grind green/white mobs. I can usually walk away from a day's grind with 1-2 million after selling drops.

grinding white/green mobs is best imo, otherwise if u really wanna get a money char i suggest, armor/glaive/force no imbues, force is for healing so u wont need many HP pots. and where am i getting this info from? all those god damn gold bots

Yeah, do what the bots do! Lvl up to 30, then get back to hyungno homeland and start farming. Name your char qwerqwer and talk to no one. Not only will it make you rich, it also gives you the chance to meet a real GM!

No, it's not true.

Anyways if you want a low level money char, you need to get an int bow character. The bow is for the ranged attacks and the int is for the most damage from your imbue. Wear garmets so you get that 20% MP reduction bonus. Given you have a decent bow for your level (+3 or sos) you should be able to easily kill anything before it gets to you. You can just stand in a spot and kill, then get your goods. You can go cold to slow down the enemy a lot or you can go fire if you don't want the cold tree. You can invest in Force to heal yourself as well.

Its not that I'm low on money, its that it goes against my principles of how I spend and value money.

Then how would i lvl my main. This topic has gone so off course i thought this forum was meant to be helpfull not just say 'Buy a monkey' and seeing as i only play about 2-3 hours in a week and if you only have the monkey for 4 weeks i would be wasting alot of monkey time

well if ur only playing 2-3 hours a week, then u can leave ur pc on for a stall char the rest of the time or stall w/ ur main. spend a half hour or so of ur time online looking for things to resell, that will make u quite a bit. ur main char is a higher lvl prolly than any second char u make. the higher the lvl, the more gold the respective mobs drop.

and please don't insult the help u've been getting there have been several good suggestions.... int archers wearing garm DO make "quicker" money in the den since the spawn rate is so high, and the 20% MP save advantage saves on pots, AND u don't have to move from spot to kill AND other ppl don't pick up their drops as much so u can go around picking up stuff as long as u get there before a monkey does. the reason a monkey is wut ppl suggest is because sometimes u don't even realize u haven't picked up something, not having to pick up stuff saves u time which means u can kill more monsters in the time u have= more profit. the other good suggestion was the force tree option of healing but use medic hand, and shift+click urself to heal. since u save hp pots that way. only get imbue (either fire or cold; lightning is out becuz it aggroes and u don't have nething to deal w/ multiple monsters at this lvl) and anti-devil bow for skills other than the healing. also get force-cure poison if u don't want to spend money on pills. this kind of mentality though also means, u shud sit sometimes to save more money.

oh, one more thought, if u have a money-making char that u play, how r u going to lvl ur main neway?

Play the money-making charcter for an hour then play my main for another 2, kitary suggested a 24/7 stall character unless the day is extended by 2 hours i wouldnt be able to lvl my main and have a 24/7 stall character.

I buy mall items. This game is my hobby. You spend $15 at the movies, i spend $13 on a gold ticket. etc. etc. I usually don't go over $20 a month. I'm married have two kids so the gold ticket helps me keep up with some of my guildmates i like to play with. The monkey will easily double the gold you have. IMO he is a must have.

I can think of much worse things people dump money on. How many smokers here don't buy mall items? 2 packs of smokes = 1 monkey. Then cut back 1 pack a month to keep him. Anyhow you get the point =)

But people pay money to buy games that are all virtual? I think it's enough that this game is free, people should spend at least 5 bucks eventually..

There are times when videogames get TOO addictive ya know.. if you'd rather be sitting in one spot for hours on end staring at your pixelated-self than outside in the sunlight having fun with your friends.. then you might have a serious issue.

Back on topic, I don't think there's any "easy" way to make money in any game (assuming you don't hack/glitch/farm for 16 hours a day). With that said, you should just stick to your main and hope for some good drops or accumulate gold and spend it wisely.

Maybe this couldn't be correct, but i think that the money build is a pure str.

- You have tons of hp, so can survuve against mobs for long time without using pots.
- You don't need to spend money on pots ( at least not as much as a pure int)
- And if you do trades it will be harder to 1 * pop kill you, cuz of the hp, and usually a fire glaive which deals pretty good dmg.

When my mom comes back form the states, the first thing Im going to get is a monkey. Why? just like everyone else said, you can level fast while making cash.

I totally disagree with, "people who buy stuff in this game have no life".

Who would pay money for a game? Why, the thousands who do actually pay money to SRO. Without them, the game would have no funds, and would not run. So perhaps you should think of common sense. O.o;
