The hijacking wasn't expected. When was the last time a U.S. plane was hijacked by trained terrorist in U.S. airspace. I believe they smuggled box cutters on board.

The U.S. has a very advanced Air Defense system, but it's made to keep things out. Yes they could of shot them down, but the skies where in chaos after the planes where hijacked, they couldn't tell who was hijacked or not. Planes also turned around to land at the nearest airport which left air control in confusion. Cheney didn't have the permission to give the order to shoot the planes down until it was to late.

1st: letting the plane being hijacked in the first place.

2nd: if they knew the planes were going for New York, they should have taken them down. how hard and cruel it may seem.

1) Now they have ways to prevent it, before they didn't.

2) If they shoot it down in mid-flight above NYC, who knows where it will crash. How many buildings will get hit, and in the end it will be worst. O.O

Watched the first one the only thing I liked about it was the religion based stuff. Government controlling civilians etc is all old news.

Above spoiler is pretty much my belief on any conspiracy.

ok now you've just joined The Idiot Club for Idiots. When several US generals and intelligence officers have gone on record and said that there were warning signs and 9/11 could've been prevented and you choose to say, a hijacking wasn't expected, theres just no other word for you.

There's always warning signs.

Doesn't mean they can be directly acted upon.

Should we have the right to know? Yeah we should, but imagine what kind of shit would stir up every time the government went and spilled the beans on every piece of info they have.

The first one is really great so I'm definitely gonna' see this one as well. The whole 9/11 conspiracy theory shouldn't be taken at face value. Just keep in mind the small questionable details (claims) such as the alleged action of confiscating video records in the area around the Pentagon or the "absence" of a plane engine on the site.

Warning signs that there was going to be a terrorist attack, but not from a plane. The last attack was car bomb that did nothing. Where they expecting a plane to run into a building? I think not.

Responding to why you want to disbelieve conspiracy videos with respect to the dead doesn't disprove evidence. Your also only scratching upon the hijacking, leaving out the other 75% of the event which is what lead to it, how the buildings fell, what this meant, and who benefited from it, and others that I don't feel like getting into.
Shit happens, conspiracy's are a freedom of speech and I love how the people who create those videos like zeitgeist, 9/11 conspiracys, etc exercise that first amendment; specially when we see how hard it is nowadays to get our voices heard.

Oh and there were most likely plenty of warning signs, I could dig up that one reference which had quotes of multiple multiple people disputing between "There were plenty of warning signs" and "There weren't any warning signs" Talk about hypocrisy between the leaders.

1. now is too late.

2. they should have stopped the plane before it even got to New York.

yea exactly.

Very good movie anyways, the entire economic hitman part was crazy. Saddam truly did not want to be corrupted and was for his people. Yea he murdered tons of people, but it's not right that the USA killed him and went to war to over throw their government.

Neither was using chemical weapons on his own citizens, but hey I guess it's all relative.

Let me guess, the new Zeitgeist blows over the whole Iran-Iraq war thing.

we put our citizens in concentration camps b4, also arresting ppl with no fair trial and imprisoning them for as long as we want on the grounds that they may be terrorist isn't very fair, neither is supplying terrorist organizations with weapons to fight ppl we don't like...

Very valid tactic that has worked very well in the past, but has come around to bite us. If i had the resources and ability to do it, I would. You can beat an army without having to get your hands dirty (which avoided WWIII during the cold war.

yes, you can mess the lives of entire nations killing millions of innocent people int eh process and leaving the region a war zone or decades only to find that the terrorist you aid are nothing more than thugs and now they are not only your enemy but they also have the training and weapons you gave them.

this tactic has never not come back to bite us in the ass and it always toys with and cost the lives of millions of people whose lives weren't alreayd paradise to begin with but now they've been downgraded to hell.

Somehow that seems just as bad as anything Saddam ever did if not worse, especially considering Saddam was some of those terrorist we helped to begin with....
