Good Computer Program (?)

Well after my computer wasn't at its best performance, i.e. my CNTRL_ALT_DEL never did anything and other problems. I found a program that fixes things on your computer, for me it fixed my CNRTL_ALT_DEL issue and other ones. Once I ran this program I found over 700 Errors on my computer.

So go ahead google it.

Program : Registry Mechanic

Maybe this will fix some of your problems with SilkRoad... I Dunno.

maybe its only fixes things that are Window's related like CLTRL+ALT+DEL not games u installed

Reg Mech is an awesome program that everyone should have along with Zone Alarm and Ewido.

Thats what I need to hear...

It may fix some of your problems in games, I dunno why don't you try it out for yourself.

i've had bad luck with trying to use things or do things that would make my computer better last time i tryed to speed it up but it made my internet really really slow

last time I downloaded that it would only fix 20 of my problems and then I had to pay for it....have they released a fully (well...mostly) functional free version??

they had these kind of program long ago, such as super rabbit ... etc... these programs change the regedit files in to a way which your windows will run faster and stuff like that, locking drives.... pretty useful sometimes =D, but it wont fix silkroad's problems, most are serverside problems.... u can go yell at them =D

I would like to clarify a few things.
1) regedit is short for registry editor wich is a program, it's not the actual registry
2) A registry cleaning tool is doing exactly what the name of the tool says, it cleans your registry (the tool will delete invalid entries and fix wrong entries). The first time after using such a program you might notice a considerable speed-up of Windows. There are several good freeware registry cleaners available btw.

I agree. Problems with programs like Silkroad are very rarely related to the registry.

most are serverside problems

This might be the case for connection problems but in my experience a lot of the problems are caused by poor coding in the game and/or our beloved GameGuard program

One last thing i would like to add. Silkroad is a DirectX 9.0 based game. If your gfx- or soundcard don't support this, the updating of drivers probably won't solve the problems you might be experiencing.
