3 man leveling

Hey guys,

Right now I´ve got a 49 rogue. But I decided that together with a friend we´re gonna level in a 3 man auto-share party. Here's the idea.

1. main character about 10 levels higher than the 2 other characters
2. lower characters with a high lvl gap
3. take pt mobs around 5 levels lower than the main character (to make use of the double exp from pt mobs)

Now, my question is, should we use the rogue as the main character, cause that's the highest we've got, or should we level up a wizard/bard fast so that can be the main charater? This would go faster, but it means we have to get that character to lvl 55 first. One more thing, how much more mp potions does a wizard use compared to a rogue? Around 2x as much or around 5x as much?

Okay, thanks guys for the fast reply. I´ll just take the Rogue.

Well, let´s start farming then, cause the other 2 charater are only at lvl 13 yet with a 9 gap (farming at the kokuru's). Not the fastest way, but at least I get drops at the kokuru's.

probably 3x as much but they do way more damage with area effects on most attacks, its entirely up to you i think rogue would make a good lvler but wizards would be better..its just leveling a wizard will take a while

for this format i suggest rogue unless your 2 mates are a cleric and a warrior, so they could keep you alive.

the rogue since you aren't going to tank many at once as it is to do lots of aoe, the rogue will have better range and wont' be dying on you

U cant compare a rogue and a wiz for powerlvling. Wizards are so much better for it. So I think its definitely worth the effort to lv ur wiz to like 52-56 and get cleric so u can powerlv at ongs. ( Pt mobs 5 lvs lower then ur wiz will prolly kill ya).

wizards are better if their defense makes up for their hp
if they even get a couple mobs that do any dmg to them they can die

Wizard will be way faster.. Depends
if your willing to spend time making
a new one.. I'm not sure how long you
wanna do this. A wizard might die
from party mobs anyways.. Expecially
if they are phys att..

I made the decision to just continue with the Rogue, because I'm afraid that the wiz will die when he gets 2 or 3 pt mobs at the same time 5 levels lower.
