Force Class- Force Cure series question

So if i Have force cure-body, it says it treats restriction series lvl 3. So if i have a curse that puts restriction lvl 9 on me, will i have to use that skill 3 times to cure it? or it won't work because it has to be the same or higher lvl to cure those effects?

I think it will reduce the time of the effect.. not sure tho

Yeah, it reduces the time of the effect, but i don't know up to which extent
