Microsoft is retaliating. They have these new commercials were a fat guy in a suit says I'm a Mac and I've been made into a stereotype. Then A bunch of famous /astronauts/regular people/ atheletes say I'm a PC.

Macintosh is being a bit mean to microsoft...i mean those "Ima Mac, and Ima PC" commercials keep getting more and more demaning while saying less and less. I half expect the nexy commercial to be like "Ima Mac, and Ima PC" then Mac just beats the shit out of PC and laughs....

I really really hate this commercial that mac just came out with where PC is counting his money, and he puts like all of it into advertising and 3 or 4 wads of cash into improving, WTF!!!??? That's mac! Every time I turn on the TV I see some gay apple commercial, but then like every 4 or 5 days I'll see the nice PC one.

Well, actually Macs can get really slow after a while just like Windows computers. It just depends who is using the computer. There are always people that will download tons of unneeded junk on their computers which slows them down, regardless of what OS they are using. Same goes for security. I suppose if someone wanted to game intensively on a Mac, they could just install Windows through Bootcamp (for dual-booting) and play games and use Windows programs, although it sorta defeats the purpose of getting a Mac in the first place. >_>

I'm kind of going out on a limb here... Since Mac OS X is Linux/BSD based (at least it has a BSD kernel if I remember correctly) then doesn't it have the capability to be configured for Linux binary compatibility? I seem to remember you can install KDE onto a MAC.

If it does have Linux compatibility, then perhaps you can install WINE onto it and install Windows gaming software like WoW or SRO and play like you would on Ubuntu.

People always say the same about Linux, but I've found plenty of games in Linux. Some might have strange names, but they have some pretty decent ones like OpenArena for example. Then there's always the ability to run many Windows game titles through WINE. Plenty to do in Linux
