Do you think SoSun should even be a drop? Why PVP w/ TURKS

I was thinking, SoS and SoM are fine since they are like 2nd and 3rd tier items, however sosun is like the next deg. Especially with the increase in reinforcement. 64+15=79, last tier is 72. 76+15=91, last tier is 85. This is assuming the sun is unplussed, which is rare as ****. So here's my idea:

NOTE THIS IS JUST AND IDEA, I DOUBT JM WILL IMPLEMENT IT SO DON'T POST AND SAY THAT JM WILL NEVER DO THIS, NO NEED TO STATE THE STUPIDLY OBVIOUS. I JUST WANT TO SEE WHAT YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT MY PLAN.

Sun should be like 10d in kSRO from what I heard. The sun there are suppose to be super rare prizes or drops, forgot which, but they are ALWAYS un-repairable. I think the suns should be like honor weps, they should be only usable for a short time, so you only use it to pwn when you have to. SoS are SoM are great since they are only a boost from first tier -> 2nd and 3rd. Nothing too disadvantageous. The reinforcement would be higher, but that's normal for a rare wep. Sun imo is just too overpowered seeing as it's past even the last tier items in a degree set.

On another note, does anyone still pvp in Jangan and why not? That's like the perfect solution for avoiding turks.... The safe zone is all the way out through the gates so it's alot harder for them to keep running to the safe zone. I've been hanging out in my newbie set for the past days and only seen 2 pvps. Why are so many ppl not going there? You can avoid turk nubs that run from safe zone, hit, than run back.

80% of the sro population check dw south, if there is no interesting pvp they go back to botting >.>

Only south (maybe west too) got that safe zone, the eastern safe zone is a strip infront of the gates so.

Sun drop rate should be switched with Moon. Why the hell they made Moon rarer I don't know.

And I miss pvp in Jangan DW South is ugly. And at Samarkand South all you get is taxi ong plys menz 10k okie.

It's not like 40-50 ppl got a piece of sun, and only 1~2 ppl are full suns.
If they are lucky to get suns, because they are the choosen ppl to be strong.

Yes I would. what's the point of having a fun pvp when you can walk around and not get killed ever. Yeah... so much fun knowing you will always win every fight >_>. If I wanted to play that i'd get a sro EMU and just play by meself and have all max everything. I like this game cuz it's real time and u never know what's gonna happen next.

So what's the point of a silkroad forum? To discuss how awesomely run this game is? How easy it is to grind? How much fun the quests are? Yeah... so what are YOUR topics about? Do you talk about how great JM is running this game and that you have no bots to have to worry about? And i wasn't even whining... if you READ carefully, I just wanted to see what everyone else thought about suns being overpowered. If you dont' like it, don't read it.

@Silo I wish it was like that, where people with sun were simply lucky. Sadly, that isn't the case on Olympus, its whoever spends the most USD on gold gets all the suns. Botting created an excess of high levels, meaning an excess of suns, meaning if you have the cash you have the sun. I personally like the repair invalid idea, but make it completely invalid, unlike honor weapons. 99% of people with honor weapons would probably multiclient bot a ton of chars for honor points, and this makes it easy for people to get honor stones.

I can't wait for new cap to come because its gonna bring pvp back to jangan southgate. Jangan is the by far the best. The whole atmosphere is gonna remind us of when we all first started playing the game.

Hmm I was watching my friend's SRO vid on utube when i thought of this idea:

What if SoSun was ONLY a PRIZE for Killing ROC at 10d. Since they already messed up the other degress, I think 10d and higher, the SoSun should be only droppable from some super strong unique that is hard as hell to kill. That would make it so any high lvl could get it, not just the ones that buy gold, and it wasn't one of those uniques where a lvl 90 wiz always kills it, it's smart or whatever, hits crazy high, and you need a good team to kill it. I dunno just brainstorming. Would be more fun than have a team of 90 wiz camp out at mt roc all day ><. Or maybe GM couuld drop non-repairable sosun in hidden locations throughout the world of SRO and whoever found the chest could get a Sosun their deg.

LOL yea, i remeber when jangan were full of stalls. And when you went to DW it was almost empty, only "leet" ppl were there. Trade runs was fun, no outside job ressers, or full sun goldbuyers.

Hotan, was only ppl there to check it out.

Sadly that game was soo fun. Cant really belive im still playing the same game.
This was when there was 3-4 servers only. Now on new server, hotan is crowded after 3 days.

hmm Maybe make sun items not tradeable? And make it that you can get only weapon that you are using and gear on you, if thats posible.

if i had a sosun i'd still use my 85+7 for general pvp, only use the sun for group/people that i cant take out without sun (i.e other sun users)

To break it there. They arent allways un-repairable. easy as that. Some are that they got from uniques and such or the ''mob box'' (where they use their keys they get in the caves)

hotan lags... The ppl stalling there makes it lag. The most popular place to pvp in hotan is north which consists of the bridge. But the area is neither spread out or open enough. The other gates lead to mob territory and that's just annoying.
