The End of Legits?

If you guys REALLY want legits to be ''united'', All legits should switch to 1 or 2 servers. Seeing as there aren't much legits as it is, we should do it. Kill bots for fun. Help eachother lvl, and be a huge union.
Why do you let botters ruin your game? All they know is how to set up scripts and buy silk.. They're nowhere NEAR your lvl. They can't pvp, they can't play ctf, and they REALLY don't know how to use their own characters.
What I'm saying is, instead of bitch about bots, do something about them. Fight botters and save your game.

Actually I +1 this. Venus should NOT be the only server where legits are strong. What we did on Venus was easy. Why? Because after about two years of continual botting and some players have never even tried to play by hand really, PVPing them is as easy as pie. Botters get very upset when I say that, but honestly, botters blow at PVP. Whole unions of them go down like grass under a legit lawnmower in Venus. Those unions are now mostly gone.

So there ya go, a solution to the botting issue.

Send them to Venus. We'll take care of them. We seem to be the only people who can.

Just partially true. There are some people on other server than could do it, but they just can't do it, because they're most probably alone.

at 100cap+ (lvl 109-110), ONE lvl of ONE skill will cost like 28k sp. How can a legit be full farmed after lvl 100? sry, but i got a life.

Actually that is not a stupid idea but you realized how was sro intended to be played.
It was planned that 8ppl teams go and grind.
If you look at the euro chars mastery they got 3weapon/3element/... in 1 mastery.
It was never planned by jm that every skill tree should be maxed.

I wish i could have some more botters to kick the shit out of. I get bored beating the strong ones 4,5,6 times in a row. I even stopped buying premium plus. Now im not buying much silk completely. Botters do tho, ruin the game. True, it makes it unbalanced and there aren't many high lvls and it gets boring. But isn't it also boring to have to get raped over and over by some full sun botter/goldbuyer every day? Wouldn't you like somewhere to train?
Then theres the ppl that can't lvl chinese. They aren't impossible to lvl up. Especially if you can get a little powerfarming, it makes it simple. If I still had the time i would definately make a chinese =x

but in reality, a legit but still high lvl server wouldn't be hard. The dedicated people would have to go with chinese/hard to farm euros while the lazyer ppl would go euro-easy to train builds.

Actually that is not a stupid idea but you realized how was sro intended to be played.

Unless I missed a previous post elsewhere, it seemed to take over a year for someone other than myself to come to this conclusion. By the way, this is not only true for euro. [rant]Then again, nowadays every other person, every other legit person on this forum seem to have access to more than one computer capable of running sro. I remember the old days when multiclienting was only possible if you were part of clockwork's circle of friends. Then again, I digress.[/rant]
It's already been said, legit's can't end. They just move away to another server or play another game. There are so many great games out there that it just doesn't make sense for anyone to start botting. 100 cap doesn't only mean new content for you, but also opens the possibility of new players playing, or old legits enthusiastic again about the game. Why must players set fully farmed and capped as a goal everytime a new cap comes? As long as you are having fun with your friends, isn't that good enough? If you are the type to set a challenge to yourself regardless of what you do, then you won't rant about it in any forum to start with and just start playing right now.

I only have one mastery... PPl are usually like, "Whaaaaa? You only have one mastery!! OMG!!" But i dont see why anyone needs to farm for two.

I was looking at the sigs and some of you are waiting for a new game to come out next year. And when SRA sets up his own private server practically all Venus legits will leave together with loads on other servers. So yes, the end of legits on iSRO is coming.

I couldn't agree more. People cry and complain about bots all the time but they never do anything about it. Perhaps some of the older servers are a 'lost cause', but if they are, just move to a newer server like Venus.

It seems pretty obvious, to me anyway, that it is possible, and even easy, to fight the bots. Venus is doing a good job of it. Of course the bot problem has not gone away entirely, but it seems a lot better on Venus than it was on, say, Venice.

If your server doesn't have enough legits to put up a fight, bring those legits to a server that does have enough legits. Sure, you'll be leaving your high level, maybe capped/farmed, character and billions in gold behind, but seriously what is the fun of that character if you're surrounded by a bunch of bots that you can't fight effectively?

Pool all the legits together on one or two servers. Show it can be done. Show that it's not just Venus, but that it can be done to other servers too.

As all (or the most of) legits, i love my char. Worked on it for 2.5 years. Made tons of friends, and they make me be sure i'll hav help when i need, i'll hav parties to play and nice ppl to chat. And i wont hav problems with gold and with my build till cap. I can also pvp and win most of players -bots or not- around my lvl.
Would i leave all that and move to an unknown server, where i dont know if i'll hav everything that i fought so much to get?

its beein done. nowadays we're 2 legits unions at olympus : GanjaFarmers union and Dutch_Honour. we're tryin to be only one.

I would think one of the other reasons legits have problems on other servers is that Venus was composed of a good-sized group of more mature legits, with good organization and strict rules. Like them or not, I give props for their success, even though I'm not quite sure the benefit outweighs the cost.

I know I've seen bot traps on Olympus, and we sometimes lure mobs on gold/playerbots, but that off/on type of thing has a lower success rate.
