12 union chats per guild

I am just wondering why they (Joymax) want the union chat to be limited.

I think it the amount of "union chats" available per guild should be up to the union leader

all i am saying that in a large guild 12 chats is not enough for your active good players
some are saying that there would be too much chat if there were more than 12
but think about this
in your guild is everyone always on, always chatting, all at the same time?
most likely not, most often there may be 10% more or less on at the same time, and all of those will not be chatting, some will just lurk, or not even be watching chat
now in a union you can have 8 guilds, with good union chat your union can be tight, close knit, making for fun parties, faster lvling for many more players, making players happy
if players are happy, they play, they are active

so the point is with more union chat the guild masters can have a more active guild, with happy players

In any specific guild, you may have 5-50 members, but how many of them are always chatting? I don't chat when I'm busy in a party healing, takes too much time, and I'd rather not see someone die.

I took over a guild from someone who decided to quit, and I get so many requests for union...I just take from those who aren't chatty, or rarely log on. For the most part, we don't get a lot of "childish chat" in union like what emo bands they like or what color fingernail polish they use Then again, several of our guilds are primarily composed of older members like me.

Being a guild leader of a 50/50 active guild can be annoying, switching union every 5 minutes. Although I hate switching it so often I do admit, there's enough kids in each union talking about there pubes and what not... And when someone begs and begs for powerlevel I just have there guild leader remove his union.

totally agree with you man, im guild master and it really annoys me ppl asking for union chat authority and i have to say its full, or even take someone's to give to the other.

i liked it better when only the guild leader could talk in union chat. now its just 10 year olds spamming my union chat all day talking about there pubes and what emo band they like the most.

I think it should be decreased to 5 for lv5 guild. The people that get union chat should be the people that the GM is proud to have representing the guild. This would eliminate a lot of the 10 year olds and their emo bands/pubes.

any inappropriate chat can be cancelled by withdrawing chat privelege
also better union chat is necessary for a stong alliance

But is it really? The other day I was trying to get people to help me get this trade, and it was really hard to pay attention to chat, and PvP. In the long run it was the difference between thieves getting to the trade at Heygochean and them getting to the trade as the trader entered safe zone. Yes, you can withdraw it, but I think it is better for a guild if its earned and not revoked.

But yea, good discussion, can't believe no one has called me an idiot yet.

I think it should be more. At least 20 per lv5 guild cuz people are like, "its so dead in union" but its all the actives that dont have union chat so it seems dead.

you dont see the point ... there is no need for any limits. let the guild leader decide who gets any.
