I tried to install Ubuntu Live on my PC. But I did smt by mistake, all files in my hard drive are gone!!
I spent a lot of time to collect musics, films, programs... Got to reinstall and download everything from the beginning now...

can't u use that that f8 menu at the startup to boot it back up to when it wasn't damaged? i allways had the idea it could do somthing like that...correct me if i'm wrong.

Back them up! You can upload the small ones online and the large and important ones on an external hdd.
