Euro Pot Delay

Post by Goseki »

So why was it shortened in the iSRO version? I was thinking about that. Didn't over versions have a 30 second pot delay? Or was it 15 seconds? I remember thinking, 'Wow, this is gonna be great, finally characters that CAN'T be botted due to such a long delay'. But now it's like 10 secs? That seems kinda messed up, defeating the purpose of euros imo. In my mind, i thought euros would be super bad at pvp ( hit hard but dies fast ). Now i see euros doing pretty well in 1 vs 1 pvp. I think all euros should have 1 class only, 30 sec pot delay ( eliminates bot and requires a cleric for group pvp ), the way that race was meant to be.

Also, what are euros like in other versions? Any better? worse? Pot delay there?

OffTopic: People complain about bots but still...

OnTopic: I think they should have longer pot delays also just because some people cried about it does not mean you have to make the European classes just so much overpowered then the Chinese.

If you play your Chinese character smart and have some nice gear... chances are you will be able to take down most European builds.

Is this assuming the Euro has shitty gear or is unfarmed? Because fighting a fully farmed euro with fully pimped +5 and max blues item is hard as hell.. even harder when they can 1 hit u or have warlock sub ><

That's the only disadvantage to euro that i see. Have to farm first if you want to wear stuff your lvl. However, most the euros i know that are strong are not euro first. They have a china character they used to powerfarm their euro and now switched over to euro as their main.

euro is good because people played chinese first and know their weak points :S

no one tries euro then switch to chinese or not many... if you worry about pot delay just set chinese at 99% lol

Do you think that people spend all their time pvping ??? are you dumb or something ? do you know how hard it is to fight with 15sec delay ? In PvE solo it is very hard. Have you ever seen someone get to level 90 by PvPing ???? Think a little before saying such a thing. pfff

Well.. That could be an issue. If you have Euros doing group fights (the way it was meant to be done) all the time, now you'd create a whole new group of complaints about Euros always fighting in groups and not fighting alone or some other lame excuse. ~.~

There was too many bots and arrogant/jealous chinese players for party play to work effectively in isro and euros actually have to grind seperately so it makes sense for a lower pot delay.

people will complain about anything.

but why should anyone complain about euros fighting in groups all the time?
It is PvE, so everyone benefits and lvling is way faster.

I could only imagine people having problems with the drops recieved(autoshare item)

Started off as 30 seconds in the beta. You were really dependent on clerics when grinding. Then ksro moved it to 20(or 15 i forgot) seconds then 10 seconds. We have 15 seconds and its been working out perfectly.

If vnsro has no pot delay.. i'm probably thinking it was to have them switch builds and spend more money. All I can think of why they dont have a delay.

And what are you than, a loner who can't make any friends on SRO? Euros were presented as TEAM Players, they should never have to pvp or grind solo. And yes, i know how hard it is to fight with a pot delay, i didn't use pots till almost lvl 30. Did you realize that maybe a wizard isn't meant to run around at low lvl mobs killing everything? That maybe they are meant to be played in a full team of tankers and healers? So next time you post, think about what the characters are meant to be and try to avoid insulting ppl and looking stupid.

Always someone complaining about overpowered euros :banghead:. Now you would like to make potion dealy 30 sec omg, you know what would that, evry euro would bring own cleric to pvp, and that would destroy china character, its nearly imposible to loose when u have own cleric.
Characters:
90 lvl rogue xbow/dagger/cleric
72 lvl bower pacheon/fire/light
79 lvl spear hybrid

Who is looking stupid? have you ever played euro? more than 5 levels? Finding a legit party under level 20-25 is almost impossible even more if you are doing quests, so i have to go solo.

Btw what makes you think that i am a wizard? is my sig confusing you?

And i don't think that i am making myself look stupid, however i beleave that it is what you are doing. But i guess that it depends on the perspective, those who play euro vs those who do not.

I do not intend to start a flame war, i just want to say that you are wrong and that 15sec is ok.

Agreed, but more like finding any party for anyone under level 70.

AGain.. the developers created a 30 second pot delay they hoped people would play together. It did work.. for the first month. Pot delay was lowered, because lack of users playing in parties. Then lowered again probably for the same reason.(At least what I think. Before anyone says proof plx. This is what I think, k?)

30 second pot delay for euro will not work out to solo grind. You have to solo grind if you cannot party grind, right? Every euro can grind at its own level(Most of the time. lol), but just needs to know how to grind there.

Really? I have played as a 75 wiz/bard and a 81 warrior/cleric. And i do believe the point of euros was to play WITH your friend and guildies, etc. Rogue (as the name implies) are the only ones i can think of who should be grinding solo, due mostly to xbow kb annoying everyone and that they are more for stealth attacks in wars. But even so they can still be pretty useful in a team if played right. Maybe the reason it's so hard to find low lvl teams is because half the euros are being played by fully farmed powerlvlers, and the other half got powerlvled to 60+. My friend has a 85 wiz who was powerlvled from 1-80 ><.

My point is that maybe ppl would ACTUALLY play together in a team the way the race was MEANT to be played if the pot delay was longer, and the powerlvl thing was fixed. The decrease in exp gain should be alot higher. Would also make it more interesting if Euros only got 1 mastery, no more of those bless + skins than attack. Team play ftw.
