Oh my freaking gawd are the baby wolves cute. Holy crap. I'm a pureblooded cat person, and definitely have a thing against dogs... but the wolf puppies are SO FREAKING CUTE i want one...
But the fullgrown grey wolf looks silly. Shields, spikes.. eh..

I've had no experience with a wolf myself, and no experience with a nuker.. but I'd think that a wolf wouldn't hurt. If you could use it to pull, or attack a single annoying enemy that just won't die from your nukes.. Seems that it'd be useful.

Yep they're incredibly cute! Hmm, maybe at higher levels they won't be just "eye candies" since it'll take you more time to kill the mobs compared to lower levels :)

as far as being useful, as a nuker, if u can't 1 shot the monster, then u have to run in close to it in order to finish it off. by the time ur nuke actually fires, the wolf is already there and if ur close to finishing the monster, the hit by ur dog may prevent it from ever touching u ^^

IMO, wolves aren't that useful for nukers. I'm hybridizing, but currently I'm level 38 with 58%/101% balances and I can pretty much one shot everything with a nuke up until level 35 mobs. My wolf is level 36 and its damage won't finish off any mob so I'd just slash the mob or lion shout it. It's quicker that way.
Hiatus thanks to college yay

I think having a wolf as a nuker is great.

I like to hunt monsters that I can generally 2 nuke (maybe + heaven/lion shout) and what's nice is that if I see the monster's health is like 1/20 left, I can start running to the next monster b/c I know my wolf can finish it off in a hit or two. Saves time, which increases exp.

This has been working great for me (currently lv 39 hunting Maongs)

my personal experiance with my wolf is

its useless

its to slow to get to mobs fast enuf
i realy dont need its extra damage

and its costing me gold in hunger pots

the only reason im lvling the thing is becouse we might be able to use it as a horse later

Wolf are extremely usefull for a nuker or any ranged build. Scene: You’re hunting black robbers. Which are agro bastards as we all know. They hit pretty hard for a pure int, and with 3 or 4 humping on you, you’ll surely die. So as you charge your nuke to hit the first, the wolf will be there first, and start to attack the robber. Well all the other robbers wandering around bored with there big ugly axes, will charge your wolf! And not you!. This way you can finish them off one by one, without ever being touched. *evil laugh*

And your wolf will tank them with ease, he’ll be like: “Sif.. noobs.”.

yeah my old charcter was like level 30 and i was nuking eath ghosts, id nuke em, my wolf would hit em twice before they came over to me, second bite = death so i was hardly touched.. so imo wolf = good just to finish em off cause sometimes u can enemies for a lot of damge and they have like 10hp left and the wolf can get that easy... obviously more better the higher level u get him

i love my wolf and hate my wolf on all of the above reasons.

It saves me time, it saves me damage. BUT it costs me gold ^^, but i might otherwise have to spend that gold on my own pots.

My wolf is lvl 28 and died only once cause of being kicked out of the server while fighting >.<
