Lol, PC games burn me when it come to installing.

Once you get the game onto your beast, you have to spend a nights worth of DLing to get all the patches, especially with MMOs.

13 more days till Fable...

Brilliant. I return to wow and the very next day theres a 1.62gb update that hasnt started downloading yet

Wont go any faster than 120KB/s either. Its even slower if i enable peer to peer

It's the freakin' pre-wotlk patch man!!!

Anyways...

I have been reading pretty much the FULL patch notes.
Only a few things I wasn't really happy about.

- Steady Shot now uses ammo. In result, its bonus damage has been slightly reduced. Players can notice a damage increase based upon what ammo they use. Steady Shot: Now has a 2.0 cast time, up from 1.5. WUTMEGANURF?!
- Buffs that have 30 seconds or less remaining will be removed once the game starts. However, the mage spell “Invisibility” is not affected by this change.

Also, to our fellow hunter's, from looking at the patch notes, I don't think Survival is a bad overall raid spec

Many dps increasing features.

don't you guys have background downloader? my patch was all downloaded except for like the last 5 mb.. then there was an update like 350mb from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2
took me like 20 mins to get on?

We are in Europe, meaning our maintenance is during our daytime.

It should have been done 8 minutes ago, after a 1hr extended maintenance.

Forums down, most likely because of the amount of people hitting refresh there atm. No additional info in the login screen.

Ok, I'm loving the changes to the hunter. Tywsta, the new Steady is LOVELY. Weapon damage + ammo damage + bonus damage. No clipping. <3
Viper is awesome as well. When I flick it on, I DPS full out and gain more mana then I use. It's brilliant.
Speaking of which, pet aggro. With Longevity, pet skills CD so quickly I can DPS all out BEFORE my pet growls, and STILL not break aggro.

That said, few small bugs I've noticed.
- Pet skills toggling on sometimes when resummoning/zoning. Annoying.
- Loot trying to go into quivers and ammo bags, stating "doesn't go in there Dave" instead of "you're out of room"
- Pet pathing is stupid once more.

It's better then a lot of the options. We got female dwarf hair and needless to say, they're pretty crap. Except that one.

Haha, reminds me, guildie made mention that they "won't be so boring now". Before I mentioned "I'm still out here spamming the one move over and over again!"

Pet talents are brilliant. My DPS pet just tanks heaps, due to HP regen while dealing damage.

Why the hell did it play the BC intro movie when i started the game after the patch?

Anywho, the new logon screen looks nice. 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 patch is installing now.

EDIT: damn, realms are still down for maintenance. It was extended for an hour.

Yeah, patch wipes the WTF folder so it doesn't remember if you have or haven't watched it.
Dunno if it's just me though, but the movie looked better after the patch.
