I have 2 different opinions about that...

i think yes,because if there´s a new server,there are many ppl who wanna start a new silkroad char,and become lvl 90 first ,kill the first uniques etc. and they´re staying on that server...
if we would have about 50-60 servers it wouldn´t be a problem anymore

but i think no,´cause maybe it just depends on,how many gold bots are on that server...(best example babel)...always about 1/2 - 2/3 are just goldbots,stalling chars,spam chars and 2nd chars

but look at saturn,uranus and some other new severs they are sometimes 24/7 "just" "populated"

TONS of goldbots,user with usual bots just don´t get banned..and the same thing with silk buyers...joymax is so embarrassing..

Dont waste more money on new servers. Employ more ingame GM's to ban the botters directly ingame.

Just employ 1 person, hell i could do it, I would banned all bots. OK if Joymax want to keep players bot and ban goldbot its fine with me too cause without player bot isro would be dead lol and all the sun player would be gone lol.

My solution, Merge Servers. Xian+Tibet for etc. I don't know they could technically do it or not BUT, imagine the biggest guild controlling the fort now fighting another biggest guild. It would be EPIC. Bloody SRO it shall be named! Bring on the INVASION PATCH xD

Simply increasing the number of servers is a short term method of fixing the bursting servers we have right now. It's impractical - there will be far less players on each server once everything evens out, and for SRO, less players means less fun.

To many servers already. All joymax needs to do is ban player bots and gold buyers. The gold bots will vanish on their own. Then merge down to 2-3 servers. That I would vome back for. But nothing less really.

New servers, highest lvls are just a nonstop bot war.
And of the 2000slots of a new server, there's at least 1000 goldbots.

First of all the should expand the server space, after banning the goldbots ofc. Which apparently is impossible. Second they shouldn't open new servers at the current speed. It's too often really.
Should be a good 6months-1year before open one.

But we've been moaning about this for years. By now we should have realized that it's totally meaningless and that things just never will change. At least not in the far away future.

in my opinion a "real" solution would be to kick ALL goldbots (i really think joymax can decide them between usual bots) 2 times a week..then goldbots would be just a waste of money for goldbotters
but i don´t know if joymax really wants to change the situation...

Joymax doesn't care about any problem(well they care about putting on a show to make it look like they do), it's a good thing for them, and i'm sure they will continue making more servers until sro is completely dead, new server = more money.

If banning bots made money there wouldn't be 1 in sro lol.
