L85-L87 MObs Guard Tambour or Mana Tambour?

I recently having a debate with others about using guard tambour over Mana tambour when fighting mobs at L85 L87 wings.. what would you go for? and reason

You are pure int, in garment, so having mana tambour wont reduce much the dmg. Physical dmg is more dangerous coz u are int and it can crit.

They do mainly physical damage so it makes sense to go guard tambour.

see my thoughts are that they mostly attack phys so i would use guard cause of that

If you're soloing use guard, you have decent magical protection allready. If you're in a party use mana, those tanks in heavy armor can use the extra magic defense.

Id say guard because I havent seen a warrior die from those mobs yet, but wizzies do die rarely.

the 1/3 is also a skill which occurs a lot less than the 2/3.

Wiz shouldn't be touched through tank buffs which = a tank is slacking.

Usually two bards in a party so take both, if not just see how much dmg the tank takes with guard then with mana. Which ever reduces the most keep it cause tank dies - 2 ints - chaos.

if its a party i say mana then gaurd if a 2nd bard, solo as a bard i'd say use guard cause the magic wont' hurt you so much as the melee

Agree on this, but I wanna add one more thing.
It also depends on whether the tank is in HA or Robes;
HA - Mana Tambour
Robes - Guard Tambour

In 8men euro party, the whole party depends on the tank's survivability.
