Hungry MegaROPA??

I'm having trouble completing the Hungry Megaropa quest. I have 2 questions...
1. I can only find Hungry Megalopa is that what I'm looking for?
2. Do I have to be in a party to complete the quest?

yes you have to kill 'hungry megaropa''s only. they are different from the other ones..they are smaller in size.

you can find them at the northmost corner of the coast...if you open up your map..just keep heading northeast from droa dock...stay on the beach and you'll find them there

you DONT need a party to complete it but you DO need a party to kill them. they are MUCH stronger than regular megaropas and you'll need atleast a cleric with you to kill it.

Thank you for responding! I find quest MegaLOPA's but not MegaROPA's. I have managed to kill atleast 10 before dying each of the 3 times I have been there (with the help of many many potions!!) but still no harp!! Am beginning to think I will never complete this quest.

the quest is supposed to be tackled with a whole party like some other euro quests.

The problem is, there are no people willing to party grind

try to do the party with a higher lvl friend or guildie
you will get good exp, and he can tank enough till you get the harp

Those kinds of quests are depending on your LUCK just like "Finding the lost ring" quest at Downhang . You kill Ong and eventually it drops the "Lost Ring" . Well, I spent 2 hours killing Ong but no drop while my friend only kills 4 - 5 Ong and it drops the ring.
What do I suggest about this kind of quest ? If you have patience , you do them . If not , you finish other quests
