Or it might just be that your nguard is missing or has a corrupted a file.

To get to safe mode:
1. Restart Computer
2. B4 the windows logo appears mash on the F8 key, u should get a menu
3. Once in the menu select "Safe Mode with Networking" and hit enter
4. Once you log in, windows will pop up a warning asking if you're sure you want to be in safe mode, click yes.
5. Test SilkRoad

if the game worked in safe mode then theres definately something running in the background.
To see whats running in the background press ctrl+alt+del while in windows, the task manager will either come up or you will be asked what you want to do, if so select task manager. Post up a list of everything in there.

=D lol myway, anyways, one more thingy u can do
go under windows/system32
under there, u can find spywares and trojans block random software... but dont del everything... that folder contains ur windows, well most of it lol, if u see files like afdgliaew1231.exe, thats a trojan for sure lol... yeah, if u are not sure post up the names too
