int hybrid sword vs pure str fire blade..who will win??

I think the Fire STR build would have the best chance. Although, it could come down to whom runs out of pots first depending on the amount of blocks that is.

Blader's have a fairly hard time killing pure ints, let alone hybrids. They need several consecutive crits to get the job done, most of the time. It should be fairly even, with scales tipping in favor of who has better equips, KDs more, gets more blocks, etc. But I would go with the sword hybrid over the blader, that is if it's a well built hybrid.

Noob nuker. Used nukes close up vs a blader, wore garment in PvP vs a str, and had a whole bunch of normal hits. I'm suprised she didn't lose quicker.

because i see alot of threads that fully farmed int hybrids can beat a str glaive..i didnt see any responose regarding full str blader...jsut wanna know if int type based can also beat str bladers...

As an unfarmed int hybrid i've found that I can USUALLY kill glaivers my level or thereabouts, but bladers seem to have a slight advantage. We'll see how I fare against them when I get a shield with crit reduce and a sword wtih block reduce.

maybe if the blader is too lucky to knockdown the hybrid consecutive times, the blader might win...

when you're a hybrid int sword, will you nuke-kd-stab-ghostwalk-nuke? just keep running away?

Mostly you should use KD/stab. You could ghostwalk away and use nukes every so often if you felt like it.

pur ints can do enough damage to a blader to kill them... but that is only if a blader doesnt score a block or KD for the whole fight...

hybrids do even less damage so they have even less of a chance at defeating a blader...

all things being equal i say str blader ftw...

this isnt a biased opinion... i also had a hybrid sword... and i was playing him and my pure str blader... and due to PvP i went with my blader...

btw... i fight my guildie who is a pure int spear user... he has beaten maybe two times out of the 30+ times we have fought... and he has almost 700 hp more than the averagely equipped pur int... when he uses a sword and sheild... he is a little bit harder to kill... but does alot less damage which doesnt come close to killing me at all...

ANYWAYS... pure str blader for PvP!!!

I'm a lvl 51 light blader. All my masteries are lvl 34 and bicheon same lvl as me.

Fighting hybrids.....

Spear hybirds are tough. But easier than sword hybrids. You do not have to worry about them blocking your attacks. Just kd and stab until they die.

Sword hybrids are alot tougher. Although they can not kill me, they are very tough to kill. Whoever has the better BR will win but the odds favor the pure str blader. A pure str blade's criticial will hurt alot more than the hybrid's criticals would. I've killed all hybrids i've faced since 3x and the highest lvl I killed was 53 only because he ran out of pots.

When fighting I wear protector, so I don't how much that plays a part in it. My equip has about 9 int on it and it seems to significantly reduce the damage and increase my damage by 500 compared to other bladers so I heard. :roll:

Anyway, I think the odds favor the str blader.

The blader is using the 68 lvl skill of stab which hits twice, and then the 2nd book which stabs once.

i am a hybrid who had full suit int of 29 and i don even increase that much (my mag is increase by 10%(90%) but i will not say i had a increase of 500 unless i nuke

i think either u saying u had 90 int add if not u must be bull shitting

no man... yesterday I saw this hybrid int sword take out a skyscraper. That poor skyscraper didn't stand a chance... kept getting knocked down. Kinda felt bad for it, because probably a lot of work went into constructing it.

Well thats what other bladers my lvl say. Some say my damage is 500 higher and some say 200 to 300 higher.

I do 4k critical on any lvl 51 pure int and hybrid with 2nd book stab and about 2.9k critical to lvl 52-54 hybrids and pure ints.

but with new alchemy hybrids and itns can add lots of hp onto gear so its kinda =/, STR FIRE GLAVIE FTW ^^.
