Bots always tell us omfg you have to have others buff to win, and of course they're always in
the safe zone.
But the funny thing is most of the time they have outside buff themselves, they're just plain
retarded and its fun to group up and let them group up too (and fail miserably) and then fight.
Bots dont know how to pvp other than safe zone -> invisible -> nuke -> run back to safe zone.
The funniest part is 99% of wizz and rogues cant one shot me so i sprint assault and kill them and then they run to safe zone and try again, some can try 20-30 times before running away, its too much fun.

I'd still probably kill at least 80% of my opposition (more not counting sun items >_>) if i were on another server. I just don't have the means to cap nor the time to do so anymore.

The few strong builds that I fought fell without a fight, even in sun gear for some of them.

I prefer 1v1 or pickup party jobbing. Organized group PvP is boring because either your team wipes the other team or your team gets wiped by the other team based on equipment and builds. When you can correctly guess the outcome of PvP based on the builds and equipment in your party you start to have no fun.

Isn't that the same as 1v1? You wipe out the other player based on equipment and build. In group PvP, the outcome is not just based on your build, equipment, or skills, but other players' too. Add in the different personalities of each player and you get an unpredictable fight.

Astra pointed out an excellent point. The game revolves around team work, all the way from CTF to Fortress Wars.

When you become skilled at PvP on any game, every game will be easier to you. Guild Wars was my game of choice and I was very skilled, end of story. In comparison I can give you advice on how to always win in this game as long as you have a balanced Euro party, 2 Warriors 2 Wizards 2 Bards 1 Warlock 1 Cleric.

Advice - Don't suck.

Euro parties are so ridiculously overpowered that if you have a full team of capped FF players who don't sucks and have all +5 gear or better there is no reason you should lose to another team of players unless both Warriors are killed at once, and what is the likelihood of that? On top of Euro Parties being overpowered they are also ridiculously easy to play too and require no verbal communication. No one will die easily and buffs that reduce damage last a minimum of 45 seconds, excluding Earth Fence, and have low MP costs and low recharges. Anyone who thinks being skilled in this game means something then you should go try to PvP in Guild Wars and see that it doesn't. To be skilled in this game you simply need an understanding of skills and builds there is nothing beyond that...

1v1 will always be the method of skill determination for me. I'm skilled at weapon switching and neither +9 FF glaivers or nukers can kill me in a best of match. I potfight bladers, until i get three straight crits at least. Spear nukers usually die in 2-3 shots. My favorite is always the glaivers or the nukers. I'm constantly switching to heal, cause bleed/dull, kb, stun, etc.

There just isn't enough competition. There isn't a single player other than the Sun xbow rogue that I need skins to fight -.-

??? Where did that come from...

IMO, 1H in PvP opens up the ability to use secondaries other than Cleric and still have an effective build. Warlock, debuffs, and Bard, bind + speed, become functional PvP secondaries in comparison to similar use on a 2H only.

if i die, 2 ints in my pt die so you end up with 3 dead players. if i live, my 2 ints i got buffed are invincible.

even the most hardcore pvp warriors on venus have 1h for group fights and wars. they know there role and they dont try to be 1 man armies. heros only get the team killed.

i dont use the taunts in pvp. only reason they are on my bar is cuz i dont switch bars. thats my all purpose set up.

plus they are good on trade runs. if you taunt befor the thives hit the trade animal, they get stuck on you and nukers can aoe them easy.

I think it's 2009 or that's what everyone thought it was supposed to be when I still played. I haven't been on any GW forums or read anything on it for at least a year now. I had GWEN but the skills weren't game breaking and I wasn't to interested in PvE, other than getting a Crown for my Warrior. I only had 15k armor FoW is way to expensive lol.

legits on venus are like half the server population if u dont count gold bots. so our half is active, and the bot half is afk botting.

thats what south gate samarkand always looks like. 50% avalon union. 45% bha union. 5% bots in safe zone. no one is faking anything.
