Nice, i would probably tone the leaf effect down a little and maybe incorporate somthin else like maybe some flower pics like alot of artists did last year which looked good. Or anything you prefer just to reduce the leaf effect if you know what i mean. Prolly remove the pentool. Just my 2 cents, just go with what you feel is good x)

Avatar looks very nice.

+1. Definitely remove those soft yellow lines, it doesn't look right. Also, that effect on the edges of the render make it look slightly sloppy. Also, the colors in the av are pretty. :}

yea... you see, the background is the whole pic of the render. I first rendered her out. then put the whole pic in a distort and put the render over it. that's what happened...

But the rendering went a bit wrong, so...

yeah, and those yellow lines are true.

If you mean that you cut her out to distort the background, you would have better and cleaner results by doing this. Make a New Layer, go to Image > Apply Image, apply whatever filters you wanted, go to your layers menu and i think the 2nd button from the left on the bottom is Vector masks, add one. Now the way it works if you don't know is it allows you to pick where or what is visible in the layer and how much. You control it with how strong and what kind of a brush you're using. If you brush in black on it, it takes away from the layer and shows whats underneath (what you'd wanna do over the girl in the main focus parts so she's not distorted), brushing in white makes anything you've taken away back to visible.

So basically, do what you did without cutting her out, then use a vector mask and brush in black over her to show the layers underneath where she wasn't distorted. I would recommend using a low opacity/fill setting on the edges to make it blend.
