+4 shield with astral/immortal/steady failed to +1??

Hi, i had a +5 shield, with astral/immortal and steady on it. I tried to + it to 6, it failed and went back to +4. So i put more astral on it, about 5 altogether (as it kept failing). then it went back to +1 when it still had astral/immortal/steady on it?

I thought these would keep it from going below +4?? Anyone know about this?

if u had more astrals than immortals i dont think it would still work since u must have
astrals< or equal to immortals

I only put 1 astral on at a time. So i ha 6 immortals and 1 astral. They all still there, even though it went down to +1

i think if the weapon is +5 or higher and it fails than it goes back to +4 if you had astral

Well thats right, it should have, but it went from +4 to +1 with astral and immortal.

So this shouldnt have happened right?
