So i'm still going to log on, but i'm no longer grinding really. I might do powerlvl, run around, pvp, ctf. I no longer feel a drive for this game. Besides getting on and messing around, nothing left. My friends are all capped. Their guilds are for capped players. I'm not planning on getting to cap ever. So did i quit or not? I just can't stand the whole bot to 90, buy alot of gold to get a decent set, turks annoying me, etc. Most of my friends have either left or quit, or are all bots. Only me and one mate left.

So i dunno, i guess i just saw the scenery and decided now is the time. I still wanna pvp and talk with friends, but the whole, "let's make a pt and go grind all day" is no longer there. So what of it? I enjoy running around Jangan and helping any newbies i see, but i haven't seen one in so long... As posted before, i even left a stall full of stuff for all 1 gold each and only once in an entire month did it get bought out. Rest of the time i wake up to find it untouched.

So... after that rant, i guess i'm asking, what is it called what i'm doing? I want to leave this game, but i still wanna talk to friends. Is that quiting??? or what is it i'm doing???

I'm doing the same thing your doing...just pvping/ctf killing bots ong plvls ect...lvling up is to hard might as well have some fun instead of spamming 4564654654564456 for 3+ hours

Who cares if its quitting or not? Hell why did you even tell us this? Why would anyone care? If you don't want to grind anymore, simply don't. Why do you need our justification or judgment on your decision? Its your life go live it how you wish. Go play as little or as much as you want to.

it is for enjoyment, do what you want to when you want
be good, help, have fun, bored do something else
the only sad thing (this i know too) is the buds that are not here now, and having few to be close to in game

i've got exactly the same. (well i only got to 65 and you 73 )

friends start botting, friends leave..
Pvp'ing isn't fun anymore since only capped players pvp (the rest bots)
CTF is spawnraping fest and the only thing you hear your teammates say is "BAFFF PLEZZ MEN"
jobbing isn't fun anymore since only capped players job
and after more than 2½ years smashing my keyboard it's not so fun anymore (and omg you can perfectly see the place where my hand lays when im grinding )

it's just not worth starting up silkroad like 40 times before im finaly logged in...

the only thing i do is searching stall network, doing some alchemy and stalling.

time to quit i guess...

Sometimes what i found best to do, was to take a break from the game, it got me off all the drama, and later on you can come back and try it again.

Or maybe talk to a few people here, start on another server, i think the reason your bored is because all your friends either quit or are boting, if you can find a decent ammount of people in this forum that are willing to grind and have fun, a new beggining might just work out for you. Just my 2 cents.

There is a new server coming out next week too, you should look into it.

ty for the replies. tedtwilliger i'm not asking for your permission or judgement, i'm just wondering what other ppl would call it. My decision was made anyways. I thought about selling this character before for gas money at college, but the memories are making me hold on to it. I might just wait till my friend reaches 70 so we can grind together for a bit. But yeah, ctf is still fun for me since pure int = tank for a short time. And for me, a short time is all i need to pwn all 8 ppl . I'm still just messing around with alchemy. Wish for that first +5, but i'm waiting for wep elixirs prices to drop too.

Heh and lol @ Tig3ress. I've had that asked by sooo many GER player, to hear it again makes me smile. Since i started i've had ppl asked me about that. I meant it to be a name of an old sword style, Shinken, sword held forward ( i got this from ruroken btw). According to all the GER players i've played with, they say it's close to Schinken which is close to either bacon, pig, or some curse word. Sooo yeah... i prefer bacon... tis good stuff XD

I thought about restarting, but i already have a newbie, but i don't wanna have to go all the way again... Going from 1-73 took over 3 years. I'm a slow grinder and i'm almost in grad school now, so just too much work and no time. Rather just play slow and steady.

You seem like you have an interest in the game still. I've quit before but I've come back. I've given away characters and items and stuff and always regret it. Quit now completely and get it out of your system. After a while you'll feel like coming back on if you really like the game. If you don't you won't simply enough. Quitting is the best way to test if you actually like a game or not because you'll most likely go back if you truly do like it. The key is not to give away your character if you ever decide to quit completely.

going to be a long time before that happens if it does. Do what i'm doing now maybe just stall most of the time grind when you got time, sure i may only lvl once a week but eh got time to chill do other stuff and still talk and met people all over the globe, which is truely the funest part of the game is meeting people from all over the worl

Yea i can understand how u must feel, perhaps u can try a new server. i know it'll still be the same kinda thing but there will be new people, guilds and wars. o and also i have found that chinese grinding parties are kinda boring so if u fell like it u could also try a euro char out just to see if that makes a difference.

just quit sro, move onto other games. Combat Arms and Maplestory i can recommend. but theres millions of cool games out there to try, just go to Other Games section.
