America and debt.

Post by Snoopy »

Well, I'm just wondering. How can the US government constantly feed out money in they're in debt?

I'm told that the US is in great debt, is it true?

Could this possibly make USA the worlds most poorest country?

We're a bankrupt nation of debtors. If you're bored read this. Sheds some light on the situation for those that are confused/indifferent.

Being in debt is different for a nation than it is for a person. Nations need to be in debt, it`s what keeps the global economy rolling. Without it, there would be something similar to the credit crunch in the US now, except it would be at a global scale.

im gonna have to check that number but 50 trillion is excessive...the economic cycle is one thing but no matter what debt has to be paid back and people only give loans if they know they're going to be repaid...that being said debt that large takes away from money the gov't could spend on other things the larger the debt, the more money we'll have to spend to get out of it the less American taxes are working for Americans...

The US Federal Reserve has the ability to print as much money as they want unfortunately. It's not like you and I who have a set income, and must stay within our budget so we don't go bankrupt.

Printing money doesn't create wealth, and the federal reserve loans us the greenbacks at interest; furthermore, the federal reserve is not federal and there is no reserve. T_T >_> I'll go QQ over there now.

I believe the correct term is Broke. America has debts equal to about 500.000 dollars per head, in the US.

Recent studies showed those figures. I'll try and find the link.

What I don't understand is, when we pay back the gov't......wouldn't they just give it back out again? They'd of course spend it on stuff for America...

I think this debt clock is just how much money is actually circulating around America right now....

-.-,

If you're referring to me, saying one day I'll grow up and honor the US instead of being jealous?

1. I think there is in many ways, countries that are better than USA. On the same token, there is many things which make USA better than other countries.

The US has a great army, and great funding for their army, they help countries in need always, though sometimes they just like to show their power (funny enough) and threaten other countries. However they saved Australia in (I think it was) WW2 when the Japanese bombed Darwin. If the US didn't bomb them Australia might not have been able to be what it is today.

2. I don't see what you have to be jealous of really?

3. This was a topic regarding how can they constantly feed out this money if they're in such debt? Are they really in debt? And does it make them one of the worlds poorest countries because of it?

1This was a topic regarding how can they constantly feed out this money if they're in such debt?

The currency of America is backed by nothing but consumer confidence at home and overseas. In other words: our currency has no concrete assets backing them, our currencies is fiat that is printed by the unconstitutional and immoral federal reserve. Because there are no assets to put limits on the amount of money the fed can print they are free to print "as much as they want." (Inflation is a natural limiter but the bankers don't care about the "little man") Logically speaking; having unlimited cash is impossible. Enough inflation and confidence in the currency will drop; thus, because of the actions our government has taken part in during the past years the fall of the American dollar is inevitable. I'm disappointed that people still haven't taken their "i-pods" out to fight Tyranny at home.

Simply using the "federal reserve" to print money is costly. Since the fed loans us the fiat at interest the country is in a state of perpetual debt; therefore, the fed must continuously pump more money into the system or else the market will catch up and attempt to realign itself.

Are they really in debt?

Yes, and the debt that "debt clocks" count is without counting the trillions owed in entitlement fees.

And does it make them one of the worlds poorest countries because of it?

Countries, for some reason, don't try to fight debt; rather, they promote it. I don't understand the reasoning behind this.

PS: The dow fell when the bailout failed; it fell again when it succeeded. The MsM did not jump on this like the wolves they are.
