100% Block rate for weapons

pls confirm if its really true that once my glaive has 100% block rating, bladers/sword nukers won't be able to block my attacks anymore. its very upsetting to always have my sssoul/truth blocked. :banghead:

that should be the case.. but i think if it is true then all bladers and swrd nukers are screwed

I personally think it's a certain value versus a blader's block value. I have very little belief that 100 block really means that 100% of your attacks will not be blocked. My guess is that you can reduce it to the base of 10 of a shield, but no less.

My theory is that each '10' decreases it by 1, so 100 decreases the BR by 10, so a Block 17 would become a Block 7.

but we can also get the crit parry on our shield... so you still wont be able to kill us... lol

According to new findings by Hellraider and the research of Seal of Star/Moon/Sun shields, it has become apparent that the nature of the alchemy of raising blockrate is still largely unknown. The common perception of the blockrate removal on weapons has been that it removes the number % from the base blockrate of the shield.

For instance:
Shield BR16 base BR10 + Weapon -BR100 = BR6

Because it removes 100% from the BR (+0%)

However, all of this comes from speculation.

Nobody knows the truth. (until one of the SRO employees escapes the compound with a stolen hard drive filled with valuable secrets and sells it to the underground)
