Yup, The board can use 4 graphics cards with each having dual dvi. 8 Monitors is overkill, but my college has a security booth with 6 24'' monitors on on pc to watch camera feed. So it be usable but not practical(and not cheap).
P.S. Those ATI cards are work station cards, They are made for calculations/game design not 3d gaming.
