Re: most expensive computer parts
take that processor that costs 1300 dollars or euros.
i think it was an intel quad core with 3,2ghz (instead of the
2.8ghz one for 260 lol.)
and gfx cards, radeon4870x2 i think is still most expensive.
mobo and other stuff, idk.
EDIT: this processor

Re: most expensive computer parts
don't go mainstream if he allows you to go with a nice rendering card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814195005
$1400 expensive enough for a graphics card?
It used to be Alphastations went for $20k, back in the 90's, dunno if that will fit your bill. A high-end graphics workstation (SGI) would be priciest, although I don't know if it's considered a "personal computer".

Re: most expensive computer parts
if you look hard enough you can really find some amazing motherboards to hold a shit load of drives and ram, that adds up, plus whatever you can attach to the computer counts, so say you could spend like 200k usd on a speaker system and wire it to your computer that would count, so im going to get a crap load of ubs so i can attach random things
