I started a bard on Venus today, and I was wondering:
what is the best sub for bard?

wizzy imo
with noise and speed increase it's nice to lvl with, tho i prefer wizz/cleric coz bard is boring (only moving march and noise)... not an option i know but still

I'm not looking for a subclass for my wiz, but foe my BARD!
So no wiz/cleric:P

Go Bard/Wizz and get the wiz attack skills that way you can either be a bard or wiz depending on whats needed at the time in your party

i'd say Wizard ..

Wizard works as sub for Bard and Vice Versa

better than Cleric imo

id say warlock because bard soloing isnt that greatt
wizards die too easily for proper solo
but as a warlock with bard speed and noise u can run and around and kill mobs with dots

and u make good money too cuz u kill all the party/giants
maybe even a chapion party with vigorss

For my bard I am taking wizard to get teleport, invisibility and invisibility detection. As a bard you nuke about the same damage as a chinese nuker. You also nuker faster than a wizard so that is a bonus in pvp. An earlier poster said bard is boring, so my suggestion is cycle yourself and your three party members then attack until your cycle is done, you'll get 3 or 4 nuke in before having to cycle again.

can u use invis and invis detection with ur harp equipped? i kno u can teleportbut im not sure about invis/invis detect

Nah, you have to have a staff equipped to go invis and use detect.
