but the 100 pach 100 fire 100 ice sounds interesting, yes u wont have speed and shit but with the 5 and 6 combo arrows with ice imblue should be fun and annoy the crap out of ppl

most people get ice resist. so you would prolly wanna do 100 pach 100 fire (imbune) 100 lightning but only probs you'd suck at pvp so maybe 100 pach 100 lightning (immbune) 100 cold

If Defense becomes a problem, wear prot. But a high parry is replacing your defense.

I don't have ice for the fact of icing people, I have it for the extra defense. Also another way of canceling attacks if i do freeze them.
ice -> debuff -> shoot
Simple combo, if they resist they resist, still gonna be debuffed. If they dont resist i just bought myself some more time.

60 fire(immune)
40 ice (snow shield)

30 fire/70 ice then? you can be immune with 30 fire.

Don't see the point in lightning if you're full STR and I'd pick 9% extra physical damage, immunity, Mag Defence +277 (lvl 99) and the passive 10% extra physical damage (lvl 100) over speed, parry ratio and mag damage anyday. Speed isn't everything.

100 fire / 100 pach / 80 light / 20 cold (90/90/80/40 at 90 cap) are the best non-force bow builds, IMO.

Why not 60 cold and 40 light? or 68 cold and 32 light? 60 cold grants 88 phy defense, 3 snow shields ( 20% for normal 1v1 pvp can be kept easily enough, the other two for when a bard is present ) and you still get a low level of phantom. With a bard in your party or anyone with a sub bard ( not very rare now days ) 80 light for grass walk isn't needed.

You can still get around 60% moving speed with garms ( not exact, though for arguments sake lets say 60 ) and considering you are a ranged build you hardly need too much speed.

80 light doesn't give you that much beside speed. The parry ratio increases are nothing compared to the defense options ice grant you and you cant use the light imbue due to it being 20 levels behind your fire one.

68 cold and 32 light would also suffice ( or whatever the minimum level is to gain phantom ). The 1st level of phantom is all you really need from light as a str based bow build imo considering speed is so easily gained and not needed much when you have great range.

Why are people bitching about immunity ?

When they update our version only bladers and s/s nukers will be 'immune'. Seeing as unequipping a shield will cancel the effects of let's say Fire Shield.

My build for glaive would still be 100 Heuk/Fire/Light tho. The damage gain far surpasses the defence gained in ice.

If ur super rich, give up light, many skill could be replace with items:
- typhoon drug
- parry/hit ratio scroll increase
- PT+ -> +10% phy/mag dmg incr -> +10% absortion ->
- Avatar -> +5% dmg, +5% abs -> 5% parry ratio
- Damage scroll +20%
- Resistance scroll +20% abs

With all that items, u increased your dmg up to 35%, and reduce the enemy dmg to -35%, in the result, your dmg ~ 2.5x enemy dmg. Making a non sun become like a sun gear user.
=> 100 pacheon, 100 fire, 100 ice is a super tanker and killer

The drugs might make you walk faster, but for a bower, the phantom walk is SOOOO usefull

You can never replace the usefulness of Ghost Walk with money. Being able to effectively run away is key. You won't be able to run away from Bowers without being able to get out of range of the KB. You can say you'll never need to run away but then you are just fooling yourself.

Not everyone buys silk or is willing to waste that much silk on all that just to be stronger.

im making a pure int S/S sooo:

100 - Light
100 - Bicheon
100 - Cold

Fire does nothing really for me...immunity is jsut gonna have to go...just that fighting a ice freak is gona be a bit harsh..but cant last for long anyways...
