There was one frame in the trailer containing all sorts of codes.
Hiddin in there was a date, prolly the release date.

Meh, I was disappointed by this. Was a huge fan and very competitive in all 3 Halo's, but never really cared for or completed the campaign aside from Halo 3's.

only a spartan could even think about surviving that kind of impact where the ODST tube finally hits the camera. but we already know that john (master chief) is aboard the ship that chases the prophet of regret to delta halo.
so from this we can take out 2 logical situations:
#1: it IS john and he somehow went though a time portal, most likely when he blew up the ark at the end of halo3. but that would b extremley lucky even for him.
#2: theyre finally integrating story and plot information from the halo book series and thats not john. i believe the ones that were still alive at the end of the last book besides john were, kelly, linda, fred, and will. imo it would make the most sense to b kelly as she did not go back to earth with the others and would have to come back at a later time.

My rank went missing, they added a new 'Social slayer EXP' thing, which means that in Social, i have to start my rank all over ;(

Not that it was that shiny, but still, it took me ages of NOT killing my own teammates to achieve that rank..

Lol it's still there but you have to click your name to see your 'main'-rank. Next to that you have your gameversion ranks. I agree it's kinda lame cuz I gotta play more to get a nice Eagle or w/ ever next to my name in the lobby : (

I think with the new rank system they should continue to show your main rank to the left of your playlist rank. So you can see your main rank just by glancing and not having to select the player and open. All they gotta do is add another small box so the main rank is still shown. I don't like the new system either

Update: The official name of the game has been released.
The name will be Halo 3: Recon.
It will be a stand alone game, and you will play as an un-named UNSC ODST. Master Chief will NOT be in this game.
The events of Halo 3: Recon take place before Halo 3 itself.
