PC to tv

K what i want to do is hook my pc up to pc, but i dont want to use the analog connector, cuz then i gotta bring my speakers down and everything, too much trouble. Would a TV Tuner card let me connect pc to my tv and also have my surround sound on? Or even with the speakers with my tv... I have some blu-ray rips and i have to do it this way, i dont have blu ray player yet

What kinda graphics card you have because the output video comes from the graphics not a tv tuner(tv tuner is for input of cable lines). Also, Ati 4850 or high have sound with the video from the graphics card output...without one of those you gota connect a sound system or something from PC sound card/integrated sound.

If you wanna watch live tv through your pc then you needa tv tuner.

If by chance you have a PS3 you could use it to stream movies/music and stuff over a network media server. It works great.
