Question about deleveling

If i was to delevel like 10 levels, will i keep the same stats and will the equipement i have on stay on?
if it does, doesnt that mean if i delevel 10 lvls ill be just as strong, but getting alot more exp from the same monsters?
Just wondering about this before i kill myself over and over lol

i think you wont be able to use your equipments. thats why a lot of people try to find rare weapons/armor that are of the level they are going to delevel. Try having an item that u can use at your current level but not the level before it. delevel and see that you cant use that item anymore.
