Everyone fights with their imbue activated which utilizes the magical damage of the weapon. So, wouldn't it make sense to go int rather than str?
Let's say i'm a 99% str archer. That means with only 1% int, I wont be benefiting much from imbue itself. Wouldn't it result in lower magical damage? Which equal lower damage overall? Because damage = imbue damage + weapon magical damage. Can someone enlighten me?
So tell me why bow should go str again?

No, because one of the main bow skills relies on crit, and an int's crits don't hurt at all. As int bow, you lack the extra defense that a sword/shield will give you. Also, you lack the power of spear skills. So basically, you can think of an int bow as a much weaker int spear: w/o the defense of a shield and w/o the power of spear skills.
An extra percent of int will actually give you more magic damage, but not significant enough to make it worth it. You could be using those str points to allow your crits to hit harder.

about the 1% int thing.... no thats not how the balances work out...
if your pure str...
youd have about a 98% phy balance... and a 35% mag balance...
that would mean youd do 98% of your phy damage... without your imbue..
with your imbue you would do that same 98% phy damage with the 35% of your magical damage added too it...
you go str so that your crit from antil devil will be dealdy...

You're right, it is lower damage than strength bow.
Now go figure out the real reason why int bows suck and I'll reward you with e-cookies. Or just read the post before mine.
