Sad... 1 Gold Stalls and Silk Buyers

SO i got bored. Decided to see if anyone still played and explored in Jangan. So I hid somewhere on the map, and opened my stall for everything 1 gold. Went to bed, woke up. All items still there. Note these weren't arrows or anything, all were items worth more than 1 gold npc. I had grains, elixirs, etc.

Something else. In Alps server there s a player in PinoyPride I believe. 2hot4life. Full sun set and a super silk buyer. Now here's the thing. She's my lvl so she's always in every ctf round. No one can kill her unless we have 3 euros hitting her. Her sun shield has 100% BR So most of our attacks get blocked. I'm fine with all that though, she worked hard, or scammed, or bought her sun. whatever. What is super annoying is that even though she's only taking 1000 dmg per china nuke, 100 per glaive attack, and 3000 per euro nuke, IF she somehow dies, she uses a RES scroll... non stop. Once we were stuck with lvl 80s and she KEPT coming back. No one could get her to stay down. Now either this person has WAYYYYYY too much irl money, or they ccf alot and haven't been banned somehow. Do you think this is just too extreme? I mean wasting money like that? Seems a bit too much. Buying all that sun, using attk and def scrolls, prem +, res scrolls. Just how much money do ppl pour into this game o_O

Basically I just feel like this game is dying. No more newbies to teach or hang out with. Only ppl left or addicted silk buyers that can't stand the thought of dying to anyone.

I understand what you mean. I agree. Low levels have been very rare. They are turned off to the Silkroad crazy after they cannot level fast in the 3x's. If you finally "beat" the game and become level 90. You find out it was absolutely worthless. You end up wasting more money then having fun. *A 2nd job you have to pay for*

hm i sometimes to go jang/const and buy out stalls if they are reasonably priced and person doesnt seem like a botter :S

but i dont run outside the normal stall areas (teleporter area)

A chinese with snow shield, silk, and a bot can get 93% damage absorb and deal 40% more damage. If you take anything seriously in this game you chose the wrong game.

I got annoyed at first when i fought against her, but after fighting with her, i realized how boring it is. The other team SAT down in their spawned and just chatted. It's pretty obvious that she's a gold buyer seeing as she spams the invisible detection pills like mad during the event. I think she has it running for most of the time. I mean, it's not that ppl get frustrated anymore, ppl just stop trying. With some luck and zerk I could kill her alone (bleed + division) I can prob do 5-7k dmg on her which will most likely kill her. I dunno, after getting over the annoyance fact, i'm just shocked anyone would spend that much gold to watch ppl sit in their spawn laughing and talking about where they gonna go grind.

Oh, and she doesn't speak english... or to anyone as far as i can tell. We ask to pvp her alone afterwards, but no respond. ever. Ppl can spam mama fack and she still never talks. IT's like her sole purpose for playing sro is to go to ctf and make everyone return scroll back or something.

anyways no one should care about how much money one spent.. if you have the money use it for whatever and however u want..if they feel that hey have to spent $3000 a month on a virtual game that's great....why is that some people have 2-3 mansion? 4+ 500k+ cars? why some spent hundreds of thousands in jewelry? that is not necessary to survive but why do they do it? cuz they have the money to spent.

I realize ppl can spend it on whatever they want. only reason why i buy my cat every other month. But THAT much money on something that never really belongs to you ( JM's policy )... That just seems stupid. I mean if they send u a flash drive that you can save and upload any time and be guaranteed your stuff will still exist.. ok maybe that's ok to dump that much money, but when JM can just get bored and pour water all over the servers... seems dumb to dump that much money into it. That's like spending all your money buying a gasoline plant that's next to an active volcano.

Yes, but you gotta understand for people with money it simple doesn't matter on what they spend it, I was never rich, but I understand that for such people it doesn't matter if they spend 500$ on a sun item, or 500$ on a vacation. Not to mention that the chars set is worthless, it's d8. Not everyone sells bagged milk.

i think its ok if she likes to spend, its her money... as long as she is happy.. its up to her.
i don't see it as sad, i just think that maybe she is rich, maybe she works hard (has a professional career by day) n SRO is his/her main hobby/game, he/she likes to try n be best at whatever he/she does regardless of how much spent (prob cos she can afford it)
