I found this video on youtube apperantly thats the fastest jap keyboard typer in the world.

But does anyone know the fastest regular keyboard typer in the world is?

I can type 55 WPM 100% Accuracy and I use y own style of typing.
I only use my index and middle finger to type/ Somehow over time I have gotten use to the keys and I type fast =O

We had a typing thing on SRF before, IIRC there were quite a few that could do 120-140; and a bunch of a cheaters that could do a couple thousand a minute.

I'm in almost the same situtation as dom.

I can keep up 100-110 for a few minutes without errors, but my hands tend to slow down and I end up averaging 90-95.

euhm QWERTY keyboards arent made to type as fast as possible,,
QWERTY keyboard was made back when they used type machines,, so those inktthingys would go less stuck,, actually QWERTY keyboard makes you type slower,, the letters u use the most are as far from eachother as possible,, there are also keyboards made to type as fast as possible but i forgot the name of them xd

i hit 130 keys each min including backspace for when i miss type stuff xD

i type 18 words per minute, using one hand and only one finger because i dont know the keyboard layout and im a noob at computers.

so you can imagine how long it takes me to post these damn things, be grateful

For those who are curious, the fastest typist used a Dvorak layout.

212 wpm is the world record, but she's dead now. I doubt anyone's going to hit 170+ on a standard Qwerty keyboard, due to the fact that you hit consecutive keys with one hand too often.

I get into the 70-Early/Mid 80's when I use a six finger typing system, fark my pinkies.

But you know, I'd rather work on throwing a tennis ball really far...The highest for that? I have pulled higher then 80 meters, not excact measuring tho.
