Armor.

Post by Grimm-.- »

Well.
I'm Warrior/Cleric and I'm not sure which armor to go.
I Know light armor has the passives but i don't need those as i'm not a cleric and i will not be holding a cleric rod in pvp. So Light armor is off my list. If There is any other pros to light armor tell me.
Heavy Armor... Its slow. Very slow. But I can tank Strengths Much Better.
I Dont know about Chinese though... They have Imbue ... so I don't know if La would be better for that... And Garments are just good for surviving ints/hybrid and speed.

Soo Pretty Much If you guys could List ALL of the pros and cons to the armors. That would be great. nd thanks.

I know you already said you dont like it, but light armor works well, and I know you said your not going to use your cleric skills alot, but when your kd'd or w/e it helps alot, I dont have any personal experiance of playing a high lvl warrior, except iv seen ones in garms die very very fast against other warriors, bows, bladers and rogues, I also know that I can shot warriors my lvl in heavy armor, so a balance between the two is better I think
* Zeus: JKMD - lvl 77 INT S/S - PvP / inactive
Guild: UnitedLegion
* Zeus: Soul_Stealer - lvl 82 STR Warlock/Rogue - N/A / retired
Guild: N/A

* Venus: JKMB - lvl 27 INT S/S - Grinding / inactive
Guild: PureEntity
* Venus: JKME - lvl 51 STR Warrior/Cleric - Ress'd / active
Guild: PureEntity

Yes I was just thinking that....
Going Garms would leave me very vulnerable against strengths.
And HA, other way around.

so LA would be pretty good.
I would be able to decently tank both ints and strengths without being wrecked by one or the other.

Light armor with the charity passives is great in pvp, since you can stay pretty much immortal as cleric.

When moving to Roc mountain, Heavy Armor is definitely a bad choice, since it looks like all the mobs up there deal both magical and physical. I guess Robe is the best choice for a Pure STR on those mobs, but Light Armor does well for me too.

I decided against the LA, considering the trouble i have with s/s nukers. If i stand there and heal tank them then they stop fighting and run to safe -.-
So I made a HA and robe set. HA for glaivers/rogues/warriors/bladers and robe for basically everything else (yes, i left out archer cuz they're basically 2 shots most of the time.)

IMO:
Heavy armor you can tank str's easily
Light armor you can kinda tank strs, and MABYE survive one more nuke, better for bless/skins
Robes get ownt by strs, and still die from nukers with 2H, with 1h you can KB a lot and survive NP.

light armor has benifits of both HA and Robe, with cleric passives you can heal yourself in no time and still be able to tank. I'd pretty much go L.A anyday anyways, just raise the white stats of MAg.def. L.A to 100% and you'll be good.

I've never had problems tanking STRs in L.A., and I can semi-tank nukers if I spam grains/vigors lol. (can't tank 'em as good as I could until I'm done farming; hate the mastery level requirement on armors '~,~).
