Erm it's like Colosseum but better...erm u can get magmortar and electrivia duno about legendary pokemon though :]

@magi: i dont believe there r any legendaries u can get from it.
@Hark: stadium was for n64, but yea its more like that, and u can wirelessly connect to it with a DS

collesium had an adventure mode for 1, 2nd it had no realy gym battles, but it had collesium mode that was basically the same as the different cups in the stadiums from n64. and gales of darkness was a sequal to the adventure mode of hte 1st collesium wiht also the same kind of cllesium mode with more 2nd gen pokemon that were given new skills and abilities to keep them up to par.

i'd only get a gc\wii game if it was like the traditional ones... this whole snagg teh shadowz pokemon gets annoying... purifying is hell

there was a much easier way to purify them in gale of darkness + it gave quite a few pokemon with special moves. for instance my tyrantitar posted above was originally from it, thats the only way u can get dragon dance on it i believe.

I never got past Gold/silver but I had quite an effective team. I used to play on-line on a simulator vs other people.
I doubt it still works though.

All you needed to do was

1) Picking the correct moves for each pokemon.
2) Finding out which item would benefit your 4 moves the best.
3) Make sure you could easily cover each weakness of your team with or without switching
4) Make an unusual team to counter standard used pokemon or to confuse people by using something of whom they didn't know how to counter. I remember I kicked ass with my Kingdra due to no weakness, but Dragon moves who weren't used by people.It was built to outlast most pokemon due to its set (IIRC: surf,random other attack, rest, sleep talk).

purifing was too much work...even in GoD. i quit it like when my main party was only max 3x

colosseum was a total turnoff... but i still got most of my party to 5x before quitting

mmm i remember when i used to love pokemon i was so obsessed with it when i was 9 years old but suddenly overnight my mom told me she watched a tv show talkin about pokemon being of the devil and completely destroyed everything i owned that was about pokemon... lol i dunno how she managed to break open my pokemon red version game and my pokemon snap game... i remember i was so pissed at her cuz i still seriously think she was bullshitting about that stuff....
