Problem with laptop

I keep getting very low FPS on games, including SRO and even flash games . I get ~20 fps on counter-strike, my fps was at 100 a few months ago. I formatted my hard drive but I still have the same problem.
An interesting thing is that when I (un)plug my laptops wire from electricity I get 100 fps for aproxximately 5 seconds and then it goes back down.
Does anyone know what I should do??

Yes, because my gaming experience was pretty much flawless a few months ago, and after I took a brake from games that problem occured

Do a system restore to a date where it was working properly, unless you can't since you formatted.

shit for me 20fps is soo gooood. i used to get 16 ON WOW!!, on sro idk how much i get because theres no counter thingy like in wow so bleh. but i know its not a lot i lagg like shit.

i got laptop problems too... it takes forever to load up over heats all the time and incredibly slow
