/facepalm this is retarded

i dont agree with any of your points smoking, alcohol, drugs, wars, MEAT

if u want to be a hardcore emo vegan go ahead i dont care

smoking and alcohol is allowed because has not and likely will not destroy society
drugs are banned because it will destroy the society, you may say that if the ban on drug is lifted it will be just like smoking and alcohol, actually no drugs like meth is i think 5000 times more addictive than ur cig, u do it ur addicited

your argument about meat is completely ridiculous

somebody need to get some knowledge about meat (im not the peep im talking about ^^)

however i should get some knowledge about english so i could explain it properly to u guys,, but i think i gave enough hints for peeps who are interrested to google it up :)

i made a project about vegetarians and durabel energy sources etc.

now please dont be that ignorant to complete ignore what im saying,,

smoking -> if i have to believe the stories it should make you less stressed
drinking -> well i know it makes you less caring
drugs -> if been told that it makes you in a higher sphere (probably wrong word but i dont really care (havent been drinking though))
gambling -> it makes you more stressed and you get thrilled
cafeine -> most legal drugs there is
energy drink -> i know peeps who live on energy drink and snacks  i would classifie this as very very addictive its like 4xcafeine ^^ and sugar
snacks -> look around you ,, alot of -> obesitas xD yes its an addiction
computer games -> playing with the right people it is very addictive

im pretty sure most of the people on this forum are addicts,, im an addict myself :D
dont come with the rubbish drugs and cafeine or snacks arent the same,, they all give us a certain amount of pleasure and you want to do it over and over again,, its addictive :) everybody wants to be entertained and feel great,, if possible better as other people

and i wasnt saying war is addictive,, there will be a war over the energy underneath the north or south pole,, howcome,, middle east is running out of oil, america to, the most easy to get oil wells are already explored,, now,, underneath norht or the south pole is the biggest amount of oil and gass there is left on this planet,, AND THE NORTH OR SOUTH POLE ARENT CLAIMED / EXCEPTED as belonging to a country,, so what is going to happen? everybody wants a piece,, and most likely there will be a war about it 1 + 1 = 2,,

crazykwrls -> go play my little pony

tl:dr <insert rant on the unconstitutionality of banning certain drugs instead of all or none>

I believe in freedom of choice and equality of opportunity. I believe government was established for the people, by the people, and to protect the rights of the people. A government has no right to ban any substances that put you in a different state of mind. It's unconstitutional and goes against everything the founding fathers stood for and as such any law that attempts to do such a thing should (ideally) be struck down.

this speech is very clever made,, its full with things everyone should agree with so you more easely agree with the main sentence...

A government has no right to ban any substances that put you in a different state of mind

1. why do people want to be brought in an other state of mind?
2. what things do bring you in other state of mind (in my opinion alcohol does to, red meat makes you more agressive,, should we ban meat?)
3. where did or fathers stand for? they blowed those indian pipes (they smoke illisionairy things,, read: drugs) lett digg some fathers up and ask them if its oke to blow indian tabaco ^^

well i can go on,, money makes you in other state of mind 2,, if someone says i give you 1000 dollar if shit in public,, some peeps who would never think about it would do it,,

hmm and if im correct there was this (nazi) test how far people go if someone with a title, read professor says they can give an other person an electrical shock,, just because the professor says so,, they will act like it,, now,, the question,, why should you want to give an electrical shock to the other person :? there isnt,, the professor brings you in an other state of mind,, stricktly spoke, in my eyes,, so,, :P part i most enjoy,, should we ban professors :P

that speech is just a way to bann stuff from society, and you more or less except it because the father of your father of your father of your father of your grandfaterh,, well am i near? stated that he didnt want ilusinative stuff :)

hmmm enjoying the fact the grandfather of my grandfather of my grandfather of my grandfather of my grandfather came up with this and we still act like it :D every thing changes except for this thing,, well thats a little bit stupid isnt it?

You're touching heavily on psychology but what I'm talking about is philosophy and social studies. Here, this summarizes my views on Government. I am highly ideological and I don't think you understood what I meant by founding fathers.

Love this guy.

Libertarianism FTW! Pretty much my thoughts on government also. However, I do sometimes agree with government regulatory laws on substances (in this case prohibition on those that happen to alter states of mind) that SHOULD be regulated. Certain substances that were free from restriction in the past are now restricted for a reason (at least here in the U.S).

It would also be helpful if those who posted cited credible/substantiated sources (at least when they give an argument).

I think you misunderstood yet again: Libertarianism, not liberalism. Libertarianism is a broad collection of political philosophies possessing the common themes of limited government and strong individual liberty. Liberalism is an economic theory advocating for competition and self-regulation of the market; it's also a political orientation that's in favor of social progress by reform and amendments (changes of laws).

Theory and real life can't really be compared side by side, it's like apples and oranges. A Theory is basically a well-substantiated hypothesis on some aspect of life, or a collection of accepted knowledge that can be applied to a variety of fields.

So basically, theories are tentative (asserts that it might not be correct, rather than asserting certainty) insights, but if proven correct, would explain certain things. Life is just life lol
